今日は、中学校の卒業式でした。
ご卒業おめでとうございます。
あっという間の３年間だったと思います。
進学先がこれから決まる生徒さんも多いと思いますが、
まずは３年間、勉強、部活、そして習い事に勤しんだ自分に拍手を送って下さい。
よく頑張りました！
高校が決まったら、またスターリー更に英語をブラシアップしてもらえたらと思います。

March is when many students march down the aisle to take their final steps in their 1 whole year of academic life. Aside from special events like Christmas, New Year, or even birthdays, graduation is the best feeling a student can feel. Months of sleepless nights because of studying, doing projects, and tons of school homework are some of the major tasks of being a student. On the brighter side, their whole school year ends, and it's time to celebrate the victory.
When I was an ALT, I witnessed a Japanese graduation ceremony and I can say it was a solemn, simple but heartfelt event. The Japanese graduation ceremony was held inside their gymnasium and they were wearing their school uniform.
When I was in high school, our graduation was held inside the Roman Catholic Church ( St. Andrew Cathedral ) since I studied in a Catholic school ( St. Andrew`s School ).

The graduation ceremony in the Philippines is quite long because we need to attend church mass and proceed directly to the graduation rites. The church was big and it was enough to accommodate the whole family members to attend the graduation ceremony.

こんにちは
先日三鷹の森ジブリ美術館に行って来ました。
そこでは10分くらいの短編映画を繰り返し日替わりで放送しているのですが、
私が行ったときにかかっていた「たからさがし」という作品がとってもよかったので紹介します！
もともとは絵本が原作のようで、ぐりとぐらをかかれている文学作家さんと画家さんが手掛けています。
こどもの頃をなつかしく思い出させるような作品です。
それがジブリバージョンになりこんな感じに。
これがアニメーションとなり動きます。
こどもの目線で草むらをかきわけ、服が汚れるのなんか気にもしないで寝転がり、
走りたいときに走って、触りたいものをさわって
作品自体もとても素晴らしかったのですが、
今は当たり前になっている絵が動くということが大変な技術であることを同時に学べました。
とても素敵な体験でした！

高校では卒業式が行われていますね。
ご卒業おめでとございます。
スターリーにも、一足早く春がやってきました。
とっても素敵な春がやってきました。
5thクラスの皆さん、ありがとう！
また来週は寒の戻りがありそうですが、
三寒四温という通り、
温かさと寒さを繰り返しながら、春へと向かっています。
来週は、いよいよ公立高校の入試が行われます。
嬉しい春になるように、祈っています！

STARRY
Time flies so fast and one school year comes to an end. Students will march down the aisle to take their graduation and savor the victory of their hardships.
Starry`s English speech presentation is fast approaching. It`s their last project before moving up to another level. Students are busy practicing and memorizing their speech. It took a month of preparation, but I`m proud of them for how far they have reached in learning English.
Every year, Starry`s speech event has a song designated for every student. The song for the 2nd and 3rd grade elementary students is from the movie The Greatest Showman, ` A Million Dreams`. Listening to this song feels grand. The melody and musicality are first-class.
The first time I watched this movie and listened to this song, I couldn’t help but smile widely at the song’s deep optimistic lyrics, the grandness of the instrumental, and the scene that went along with this song.
Somehow, this song manages to lift your mood up and tells you that everything will be okay. To keep dreaming, and to keep hoping, because you can create your own world and make anything as long as you hold onto that dream, and I think that’s incredibly inspirational especially for all the younger generation who will start to take their own path or for the one who will start to create his/her own dream.
Sometimes we get swept up in the stress and monotony of life, but this song pulls you out of that reality for a few minutes to remind you that things can become better and that things will be alright. Because you still have that colorful, bright vision deep inside of you.

2月22日はニャンニャンヤンでネコの日だそうです。
その2月22日STARRYから出たところで、空の色が大変美しかったので思わずパチリと撮影！
それがこちらです。
空の色に魅かれて撮影したのですが、ひときわ輝く星も写っていました💦
日没直後の西の空でひときわ輝く星と言えば、金星ですね。
「宵の明星」と言う素敵な名前があります。
因みに明け方前後は、「明けの明星」といいます。
綺麗ですねぇ…。
明日は7つの惑星が並ぶ惑星直列だそうです。
皆さん、時には空を見上げて宇宙に思いを馳せてみてはいかがでしょうか？

この前の3連休で秋田に行って来ました！
天候を気にしていましたが、思ったより雪は降っていなかったのですが降りやむことはなくすごい量の雪が積もっていました。
どうですか？びっくりしますよね？
屋根のうえには５０センチほどのぎっしりした雪がつもっていて住民の方は雪下ろしをしていました
各建物に大きなつららがさがっており、私は十数年ぶりにみるつららに興奮していました！
同じ東北とは、むしろ同じ日本とは思えないような光景でした

春はそこまできています。

Recently, there was a rare sighting of a deep-sea creature called the black sea devil or the angler fish surfacing the ocean before death. The angler fish lives in a 6,500-foot-deep shallow sea, and even sunlight can`t reach the bottom of the shallow water called the Midnight zone. The expert does not know why the anglerfish was swimming in shallow waters, but they suspect it may be due to illness, a change in currents, or the creature was escaping a predator.
Social media users had a different perspective on the anglerfish. Some of the social media users said that over the fish`s last brave swim, they wondered what the black sea devil anglerfish may have been thinking as it swam upward toward the light in some of its last few moments of life.
I literally can't stop picturing her swimming all the way and reaching the ocean`s surface because she was just a palm-sized fish and her body was built to last the strong pressure in her habitat. Like what do you think she was thinking? Like was she proud of herself? There was a saying even in darkness, there is a glimmer of hope. No matter how deep the ocean or vast the unknown, there is always a way forward. Sometimes, the light we need is within us.

ここのところ天気が一定せず、何となく悩む日々が続いているのでは？
この間の月曜日、晴れ→大雨→晴れ→大雨→強風→霙→雪で、大忙しの天候でした
そんな中、虹がでていたので皆さんとシェアしたいと思います。
虹ってなんか心躍る現象で、大人になってもついつい写真に収めてしまいませんか？！
なかなか綺麗な虹をカメラに収めることはできませんが、これからも虹を追い続けたいなと思います。

昨日また雪が降りましたね
私の住んでいる地域は山のほうなので一晩で30センチ近く車に積もっていました
この前雪が降った時にはスターリーに４段？５段？雪だるまが出来ていました！
中学生の子達が作ってくれました♪
