Dear Kako,
Thanks so much for my delightful birthday package. The scarf is lovely. We already have been enjoying the snack crisps. We do not have anything exactly like them. They are a great mix of sweet, salty, crispy and nippy. Delicious! We are curious about the game. We think it represents the 12 months of the year with their signs. But we weren't sure how to count the die to move around the board. It looks real cute.
I had a lovely birthday with Dale here for 5 days, Jer down from his work in Todd,and Deb, Diane and Richard all here,too.
On Monday, the 21st, we went up to Cherokee, about 50 minutes away, to be in the path of the eclipse. We had special glasses and watched off and on for a couple of hours. At the last ray of light it got dark and everyone gasped. It was quite a sight to see. It lasted about 2 minutes and then quickly got light again. We were so pleased to be able to see it.
