1) 09 Nov - Press Conference (10.30AM)
- 6 Newspapers are invited. Roughly 12 - 15 pax will attend.
- Need to prepare the conference venue on 08 Nov in the afternoon.
- Souvenirs for media are ready. Beautiful Boxes are made by I
Press Conference will be:
- Speech by Mr Nakano and Mr Okamoto
- Speech by Ms Vallen Chew as secretary of MJS - explains on Event details.
- Questions by media
- Photo-sessions
- Refreshment and snacks - prepared by Irene-san
Pls attend the Press Conference, if you are free.
2) Exhibition Lists
Need to finalize who are going to bring in works and how many. Deadline for application is 15 Nov.
Pls bring your works in any box with your name on it and label each works by yourself by 17 Nov.
*Pls follow the member list made by Mr Sato. Follow your number as listed.
3) Sales of Food
Sales of food and drinks:
2 Japanese Food Teams by friends
1 Char Kway Teow stall
1 Drink Stall

Lunch box will be prepared for the helping staffs?
4) Opening Ceremony - 18 Nov at 10.00AM
It is highly appreciated, if more people can attend this ceremony!!
Decoration of the venue needed - Flower arrangement and others.
Cutting ribbon (5 scissors needed; 2 bought, Ryou-san bring 3 more, pls!)
A bowl for namecards drop and blank namecards for those who don't carry namecards
Corsage for VIP guests and MC - prepared by Ms Patricia 10 pcs
Photographers - Mr Sato and Mr Koide will be in charge
2 canopies, 30 tables, 30 chairs need to rent - need to finalize
Opening ceremony schedule must be fixed;
- Mr Nakano & Mr Okamoto Speech
- Japan Consul Speech
- YB Speech (2 YB?)
- Gift presentation to the Guest of Honors
- Cutting Ribbons by 2 YB, Consul, Representative of MJS, Garden Ku Boss, President of Japanese Association
- Showing around Guest of Honors to exhibitions
- Refreshment and snacks
Food are ordered by Irene-san. Drinks will be prepared by Miki Tampo.
5) Venue setting & management
Start venue setting from 15 Nov, but display the works on 17 Nov.
Pls come and help when convenient for you!!
Exhibition tables - covered with white cloth for master artists' works, with white papers for students' works.
(Cloth has been purchased. Still need to purchase papers)
Total of Exhibition areas is 5; at least 1 person must take care of each area during the festival.
The shift will be finalized by 17 Nov; Guest Relations at 5 exhibition areas and Casher/Reception.
Basically, the sales of works are only by cash. If really need to use credit cards, must pay at the Garden Ku Casher (Credit card charges are to be borne by customers. Using Garden Ku’s Casher need to pay 10% commission to them?) We can also accept the deposits ---> using the receipt book
Artists' Profile needed; prepare A4 size profile for each artist!! IN ENGLISH!
Staff badges and exhibitors' card for displaying works prepared by Ikeda-san & Sato-san
6) "Job Well Done" Party at Laosher Tea House on 20 Nov, at 7pm
