How are you doing?
It's all of a sudden, but I have a question; "What do you do on the train?"
As for me, when I have free time on the train, I use my PC, check some lesson plans, and so on, however, mostly I read English books!
Personally, I think "Reading skill" is a key to improve your fundamental English skills & your TOEIC score!
However, choosing appropriate English books that matche your English level is more difficult that you think, and I sometimes hear my students say “I don’t know what book to choose.”
In this case, I recommend these book series…
“Penguin Readers” (Longman)
“Oxford Bookworms” (Oxford)
“Ladder series (IBC Publishing)”
“English Readers (Cambridge)”
There are 5-6 levels each with these book series, and a lot of varieties of books ranging from history, love story, movie to non-fiction, but keep in mind that you should choose easy-to-read books!!
Go to a book store and check them out!!

いきなりの質問ですが、皆様は電車の中でどのように時間を過ごしていますか？
自分に関して言えば、パソコンを使ったり、レッスンのチェックをしたりしますが、ほとんどは、英語の本を読むようにしています。
個人的に思うことは“英語を読む”ということは“英語の基礎力”をつける際にとても大事で、ＴＯＥＩＣスコアアップにもかかせない、ということです。
しかし、意外に自分のレベルにあった英語の本を探そうと思っても、思った以上に難しく、いざ英語の本を本屋さんに見に行っても、どの本を選べばいいのかわからないという生徒の方の声を聞きくこともあります。
こんな時は以下のシリーズがおすすめです。
・“Penguin Readers” (Longman)
・“Oxford Bookworms” (Oxford)
・“Ladder series (IBC Publishing)”
・“English Readers (Cambridge)”
上記のシリーズは各５～６レベルから成っており、本のジャンル（歴史、映画、ノンフィクションなど）も多岐に渡ります。
このシリーズの中から一冊を選ぶ際に気をつけてほしいことは、“簡単に読めるレベルの本を選ぶ”ということです。
本屋さんに行くことがあれば、英語の本のコーナーで "Check them out！"
