The turtles are BACK 
Every year in Hrose River near the bridge in Nagamachi, the turtles hibernate in the fall and winter BUUUUT they come back in the Spring. They stay until the end of summer. There is a family of about 7 turtles. When I first noticed them, about 6 years ago, there were only 3 but the family has grown. It looks like the daddy or mommy turtle has come out of hibernation FIRST 
. I suppose the others will come soon, just like they do every year. 
I will take more photos and keep you all updated
