Summer Season is Waving

2024年05月24日 | ★STARRY★

I went to the beach last weekend to savor the last cool breeze in Japan. As we all know summer in Japan spans June, July, and August, with each month offering its own unique weather patterns. June marks the onset of the rainy season, known as Tsuyu, characterized by frequent showers and high humidity levels. This humidity can intensify the perception of heat, making it essential to dress appropriately. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing to stay comfortable throughout the day, and consider investing in garments that are breathable fabrics.

Summer in Japan isn’t just about the weather; it’s also a time of heightened activity and festivity. The flow of domestic travelers, particularly during school and college vacations, contributes to the vibrant atmosphere. Festivals, such as Obon, provide insights into Japanese culture, offering opportunities for immersive experiences. While the crowds may be daunting, embracing the festive spirit adds a layer of authenticity to your journey.

Be prepared. Summer in Japan promises unforgettable experiences, it’s essential to be prepared for the challenges it presents. Stay hydrated, protect yourself from the sun’s rays, and seek respite in air-conditioned spaces when needed. Embrace the Japanese approach to staying cool, whether through cooling sprays, cooling sheets or traditional methods like wearing sun umbrellas.

I`m looking forward for Japan`s summer festivity, but not Japan’s scorching summer heat.
