I grew up in a tropical country which is the Philippines and when I was a kid, I was so amazed looking at the snow on TV. I was asking myself why in the Philippines there is no snow and I was sad about it. Until I found out that the Philippines is located near the equator that’s why there is no winter season and can`t produce snow.
Growing up seeing snow, playing, and making a snowman was my dream indeed. I told myself It was just a dream and it would never happen. I asked myself WHAT IF the Philippines has a winter season and snowfall and what it looks like.
I saw a re-imagined photo on TikTok of how do Philippines look like if there were winter and snowfall with the power of AI.

It was weird to look at these photos, but it was fun though.
But, if I`m going to think about it. If the Philippines experienced winter, it would drastically alter the country's climate, ecology, and way of life. Tropical plants would struggle to survive, and agriculture patterns would shift. I don’t want to happen that in the Philippines. Additionally, infrastructure and daily routines would need significant adjustments to accommodate colder temperatures and potential snowfall. The Philippines was created to be a tropical country and I`m happy with that
