Here is the picture of fern I took at the park the other day. It reminds me of Yambaru, the place I long for.
Thanks to my husband, I have watched the special TV programs about Okinawa on Sunday, he has set the TV to record all the programs on Okinawa, and so naturally I have been watching some programs about Okinawa.
I was wondering why there are so many Okinawan programs these days!
I saw NHK 「笑う沖縄 百年の物語」in the morning, and at night one more on NHK.
In the program, a young comedian said that he longed for the day we all laugh from the bottom of our hearts. (心の底から笑える日）
Okinawans are good at making fun of ourselves, and about the problem of the Bases.
The man at the night program gave a bitter smile when the plane from Futenma flying over interrupted the conversation. It's not a happy smile either.
If you listen and observe and reflect or consider the problems as your own things, you will find the different points of view.
Please take it into your count. Don't misunderstand the real meanings.
We deserve the right to laugh from the bottom of our hearts.

When the word "conscience" occurred on my mind, I checked the word and found another word, co (conscientious objector), it means
良心的兵役拒否者。道徳的・思想的・宗教的理由から兵役を拒否し参戦しない者のこと。(yahoo 辞書から）
良心に基づいて兵役を拒否できる権利が認められているのです。 全ての人は良心を持っているはずですので、拒否できるということではありませんか？
