聖霊は、私たちがキリストに従うために必要なすべてのものを与えてくださいます。

The Holy Spirit supplies everything we need in order to follow Christ.

ガラテヤ人への手紙 5:16-25 16 しかし、私は言います。御霊によって歩みなさい。そうすれば、肉の欲するままに歩むことはありません。 17 肉の欲は御霊に逆らい、御霊は肉に逆らうからです。この二つは互いに対立し、あなたがたが自分の望むことを行えないようになっています。 18 しかし、御霊に導かれているなら、あなたがたは律法の下にはいません。 19 肉の行いは明らかです。それは、不品行、汚れ、好色、 20 偶像礼拝、魔術、敵意、争い、嫉妬、怒り、口論、分裂、分派、 21 ねたみ、泥酔、酒宴、およびこれに類するものです。私は、以前から警告しておいたように、これらのことを警告しておきます。このようなことを行なう者は、神の国を受け継ぐことはありません。 22 しかし、御霊の実は、愛、喜び、平和、寛容、親切、善意、誠実、 23 柔和、自制です。このようなものを禁じる律法はありません。 24 キリスト・イエスに属する者は、肉をその情欲や欲とともに十字架につけました。 25 もし私たちが御霊によって生きているなら、私たちも御霊によって歩もうではありませんか。

Galatians 5:16-25 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

John 15:26-27 26 ``When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, 27 and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

聖霊は、神が愛する子供たちに与えてくださった最も貴重な賜物の一つです。聖霊は、救われた瞬間に信者の内に宿り、一人ひとりが罪を克服し、神の栄光のために生きる力を与えてくれます。（ヨハネ15:26-27参照）しかし、聖霊の力は妨げられたり無視されたりすることがあります。

The Holy Spirit is one of God’s most precious gifts to His beloved children. The Spirit takes up residence within believers at the moment of salvation and empowers each one to overcome sin and live for God’s glory. (See John 15:26-27.) However, the Holy Spirit’s power can be hindered or ignored.

聖霊に従って歩むということは、神に頼ることを意味します。神が道を導き、私たちはそれに従います。神が語るとき、私たちは耳を傾け、神の警告に注意を払い、神の指示に従います。神の道は服従の道であり、時には困難ではありますが、人生の充実へと導きます。神の聖霊は私たちを導くだけでなく、力づけ、義にかなった生活に必要なすべてのものを与え、私たちの中に神の素晴らしい実を結ばせてくれます（ガラテヤ5:22-23）。

Walking by the Spirit denotes reliance upon Him. He leads the way and we follow. As He speaks, we listen, heed His warnings, and obey His directions. His way is a path of surrender, which, though sometimes difficult, leads to fullness of life. God’s Holy Spirit not only guides but also enables us, supplying everything needed for living righteously and producing His remarkable fruit in us (Gal. 5:22-23).

御霊に導かれることは、神のすべての息子、娘にとって自然なライフスタイルであるべきです。私たちは、一日中、神の存在を意識し続けるよう意識的に努めるべきです。そうすることで、神は私たちを神のことに敏感にし、私たちの生活における状況や人々についての理解を与えてくださいます。

Being led by the Spirit should be the natural lifestyle of all sons and daughters of God. We should intentionally seek to maintain an awareness of His presence throughout the day. As we do, He makes us sensitive to the things of God and provides understanding about the situations and people in our life.

今日、聖霊とともに歩んでください。御言葉と祈りに時間を費やすことで、聖霊の声を認識することを学びましょう。あなたの思いを聖霊に集中させ、聖霊の導きを求め、聖霊の導きを期待して待ちましょう。

Take a walk with the Spirit today. Learn to recognize His voice by spending time in the Word and in prayer. Focus your thoughts on Him, asking for His guidance and looking expectantly for His leading.
