My summer holiday was a productive vacation. It started when we had an English summer camp at school. It was a tiring two-day camp but it was fun and worth it. I got the chance to bond and play with the children. Of course, it was the time to know them better. We stayed in a cabin overnight and I saw the children`s smiles and excitement because they are with their friends sleeping together in one cabin. I felt that they will treasure that moment and it was the best part of their summer memories. We did so many fun activities that the children loved. But my best and most fun memory is playing with them in a water fight. It was really fun. Congratulations to the team who won champion in our summer camp.
After our English summer camp, the holiday started. I went to the river and had a picnic to celebrate our friend`s birthday. We enjoyed playing on the river to beat the summer heat. Also, we had a barbeque and enjoyed eating. It was a fun day with my friends.
The day after I went to Tokyo to pick up my nephew from the Philippines. It`s his summer break so he visited me here in Japan. We stayed in Tokyo for 3 days and visited some tourist spots around the city. Touring around Tokyo City is fun but I can`t bear the heat of the summer. If Sendai`s weather is hot, Tokyo is the hottest. That`s why I decided to go back to Sendai with my nephew.
Back in Sendai. At night, I drove to Tome to watch the fireworks display and we toured some nearby tourist spots around Sendai.
I`m looking forward to this weekend to tour my nephew for the last time here in Sendai, because he will go back to the Philippines next week.
