There is something really attracts me about having a long drive in Japan. Although sometimes I like the convenience of a plane or riding a bullet train because all you have to do is to ride, sit back, and relax. A long drive is fun if you are many inside the car.
But last Tuesday I can't imagine that I survived an almost 13 hours of long drive from Sendai-Tokyo and Tokyo-Sendai. It`s fun to experience a long drive but thinking that you will go back to your place alone is not that fun at all. Although there are advantages of long drive. It enables me to speed up, slow down, and be in control and the most enjoyable part is the beautiful landscapes. Driving in Japan is relatively easy, but can get expensive, really quickly. There are many factors you need to take into account such as fuel costs, Expressway tolls, and of course you need to have a break and eat.
Last Tuesday I went to Narita T3 Airport Just to send my nephew. If only he doesn`t have big and heavy luggage we will just go to Tokyo by bullet train. But there is also a disadvantage of riding public transportation if you have many luggage. It`s difficult to carry all your luggage from one place to another or one ride to another. I think it`s a balance situation. We need to weigh whether we want to have a long drive or ride a public transportation, both have their comfortable advantages but it depends on the situation.
