Hi, everyone! Last week in my blog, I showed you a couple of pictures of my siblings (brother & sister). Today I thought it would be a good idea to talk more about my family. My family has gotten bigger recently. That's because my brother Jim became a father a few months ago. He has a son named Frank. Here is his picture:
So cute, right?? Yay!!! Now I'm an uncle. This boy is my nephew. From now on, you can call me "Uncle Peter" instead of "Peter-sensei". Hahaha...
Also, here is a photo of my mother with Frank:
My mother and father were both teachers. That's probably why I became a teacher, too! My dad is retired now, but my mom is still young enough to work (she is in her sixties). My grandmother is also pretty young. Here's her picture:
My other grandparents aren't alive anymore, but my grandma is healthy and she will probably still live for a long time. My family is very international! I live in Japan. My father lives in Canada. My mother and grandmother live in the United States. My brother lives in Switzerland, and his son Frankie was actually born in Germany! All of my family members love Japan. In fact, my sister lived in Japan for 2 years and taught English in Shimane Prefecture (near Hiroshima). You can see my sister and mom here:
They are the two people on the bottom right. They're really pretty, don't you think? This was from around 2014, I think. Next time, maybe I'll show you some photos of my father and brother. Or I'll try to find a few old pictures of me, when I was much younger...
Have a great weekend!!!!
