All G7 countries are suffering from huge debts (national debts). There is no ``prospect'' for repayment in any country. So I argue that politicians have started a "war" to "reset" the economy.

G７諸国はどこも「巨額の借金（国債）」に苦しんでいます。どこの国も返済の「目途」が立っていません。それで、政治家は経済を「リセット」するために「戦争」を始めたと、私は主張しています。

世界的投資家のジム・ロジャーズ氏は「2024年以降､リーマンショックを超える経済危機が起きるだろう。それは私の人生で最大の危機になると思う」と言う。怖いですね！

ロジャーズ：私は、2024年以降にくると考えています。そして、その兆候はすでに現れている。たとえば、インフレが高止まりしていることや、金利が高くなっていることは、遠からずやってくる「不況の兆候」だと言う。

対談者のワタミ会長：日本の状況はまったく異なります。日銀はマイナス金利を解除したが、短期の政策金利は0～0.1％です。これは、本格的に金利を上げると、日銀が債務超過に陥り、国家予算を組めなくなるからです。日本は破産するしかない！！

【ロジャーズ】もちろん日本が経済危機に陥れば、その影響は世界中に波及します。アメリカあるいは中国で大きな不況がはじまったとしても、同じく世界中に波及します。

アメリカをはじめ、世界各国の中央銀行は利上げを実施していますが、その裏でお金の増刷は止まっていません。世界中の政府がまだまだお金を印刷し続けているのです。

利上げをしても、その裏でお金を刷り続けていれば、借金はさらに増え続けていきます。この傾向は2008年から続いています。

そのため、世界経済はリーマンショックから2020年のコロナショックまで大きな不況もなく、成長し続けることができたのです。

お金を印刷し続けたことによって、これまで経験したことのない水準まで借金が膨れ上がっているのは事実です。

2008年以降は中国ですら借金を増やし続けており、今後はとてつもなく大きな経済危機がわれわれを待ち構えていると感じています。

若い人にとっては非常に怖い時代です。私が生きている間に、国の借金を背負う義務は生じないかもしれませんが、世界中のすべての若者が借金の肩代わりをすることになるでしょう。

特に人口が減り続けている日本の若者にとっては、深刻な問題です。日本では天文学的に借金が増えているうえに、それを背負う若者が減っているのですから、大変なことになります。

2008年のリーマンショックでは、当時借金が少なかった中国によって世界が救われました。今はその中国でさえも大きな負債を抱えています。

そのため、今後の経済ショックの際に中国が世界を救うシナリオは考えにくいでしょう。世界中の国がお金を刷り続けて借金を重ねてきたために、預金を豊富に持っている国はありません。

救世主となる国が現れることは考えにくいのです。先進国の中では比較的借金が少ないドイツですら、すでにいくつかの州が財政難に陥っています。

ロジャーズ氏は、次の経済危機が起こった際に、世界を救える国を私は思い浮かべられないのです。世界のインフレは2024年以降、さらに加速するという。
