ポップグループのこの1979-1980のライヴは2016年に出たらしーが
今の今まで全然知らなんだ　
ゲオの宅配レンタルで
スージー＆バンシーズとスリッツの　
まだ聴いてないアルバム探してたら出てきたん


ポップグループは　1980年代前半にちょびっと齧って
マークステュアートの臆病者アルバムでガツンときて
2018年頃に　Yと2枚目をちゃんと聴いてみて以来の音


音質はそんなに悪くはない　
選曲は　ポップグループ通ではないので　いいのか悪いのかよくわからない
ただ1曲目が　We Are All Prostitutes　なので一番盛り上がり箇所
スタジオ盤 より音が整理されてないぶん　ぐちゃっと塊で瞬発するんで
エエ面と聴き辛い面があります　ポップグループは瞬発芸の方々なので
ライブの方がエエんではないでしょうか
ベースのウネリとギターの金属的なコードカッティング


ファンクを目指すが　そんなにテクはないので　
本場の黒人の方々のよーなグルーヴは出せない　
歪でモッチャリしたリズム感
これがポップグループの特徴です
モタツイテル　つんのめってる　感に
あのマークステュワートの　おっかない唸り声が響く寸法となります


1回目聴くと聴き辛かったですが
2回目はすんなり入ってきました
また　ポップグループ系を欲してきた　バイオリズムです
