Going to Manhattan - Part 2

I am headed for Modern Art Museum. This is my husband's recommendation.

Admission fee is $20.00. Is it really worth it?

I walk throughout the gift shop, and feel like I have already seen what is like inside.

There are two king-size beds at the entrance. They are waiting sofas.

As I sit there, I hear many languages I don't recognize, including Asian and middle-eastern.

The U.S.A. is surely a melting pot.

I was going to take a shot of how people of many nations are, but I was stopped.

Well, I put up a photo which I took so far away from the Musuem. I went too far away 'cause I was stopped to take one inside.

Going to Manhattan - Part 1

A bus bound for Manhattan stops right in front of my apartment.

It's great that it runs at 10-minute interavals.

A couple of people are waiting at the bus stop. Here comes a bus.

A middle-aged man kindly reaches out his hand toward me, saying, "After you."

I also kindly let him go first...just to learn how he is going to pay a bus fare.

Fully Prepared.

The weather forcast is rainy and stormy for the weekend in NY.

I've decided to go out to Manhattan tomorrow on Thursday.

I don't want to be recognized as a tourist, and be watched for for crimes of any kind.

So I'd better not open up a map or a guidebook out on the streets.

I look into the internet for how to go around in Manhattan make myself a secret book.

Well, I'd rather pray than pluck my courage for tomorrow.

Still a Tourist

It's been four days since I landed in New York.

I don't feel like living here yet. I'm still in a mood of a tourist.

Soon or later, I will pluck my courage to go explore Manhattan.

Incidentally, I live in New Jersey along the Hudson River, overlooking the Manhattan island across the river.
