All-Star Game

2010-07-15 | 日記
All-Star Game was aired on TV.

Ichiro appeared on it. He really made a nice catch as an outfielder!!
However, he flied out in his first at-bat.

Anyway, he has made the 10th continuous appearance in the All-Star. It is quite a record.
Unfortunately, the American League of which Ichiro was a member was beaten by the National League by one to three.

By the way, its opening ceremony was nicely directed.

Several people were shown on a gigantic screen as “All Stars Among Us.”
They were the ones who have started non-profit organizations for the community's well-being
such as an educational facility for the autistic,
a facility to providing opportunities for physically handicapped veterans to fully utilize their experiences and talents,
the organization to help the homeless with clothes, living and food, etc.

They were together with the major league players to participate in the opening ceremony.
This convinced me that the U.S. is really the Christianity-based country.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (The Bible)

I hope this nation will keep being blessed as it abides in the word of the Bible.

Hair Cut

I had my hair cut really short for the first time in life.

Precisely speaking, I havne't this short since I was a baby and an infant.

My husband told me I should have my hair cut as short as a lady famous performers’group who play male parts.

I had been resistant to this idea for quite a long time, and I finally decided to make a challenge.

It’s great more than anything to have my hair style blown dried so quick.

I have gone through one new experience after another in 2010.

It has been happening since I received the word from God:

”Leave your country, your people and your father's household

and go to the land I will show you.” Genesis 12:1
