Independece Day

2012-07-04 | 日記

We went on a picnic with the family with twin girls.

Since we arrived at Tallman Park past one o'clock,
almost all BBQ grills were occupied.

However, we found a grill left unused. Thank God!

It was my first time cooking meat and vegetable on the grill over charcoal.
They tasted so good!!

After that we went to the mall nearby.

The twin girls had a fun time riding on the Ferris wheel and the carousel inside that mall.

The twin girls who usually go to bed at 8 p.m. were so excited and wide awake
that they were up until 10 p.m when the fireworks were over.

Their mother told me that the girls were saying to each other, “We are having fun today.”

At the end of the day, my husband couldn't get out his car from the garage
as a car illegally parked in front of it.
He was to drive the family home.
He had to wait for about one hour to have that car towed to clear the way.

While waiting, I got to listen a lot to the girls' mother
including their wish to participate in the Hakuba camp next summer.

I give thanks to God for all the blessings we had this day!
