I started this morning praying earnestly that I could put Jesus first
since He has the best in store for me.
Then as if I was rewarded, one good thing after another happened to me today.
Well, I went to Manhattan for my husband’s business;
He was going to Patmos in Greece next week on a church trip
and I went to change money from dollar to euro.
This morning I called up a foreign exchange in mid-Manhattan
and asked for an exchange rate.
The rate was really bad at 1.69 euros a dollar.
When I got to Manhattan, I asked a receptionist in a building
if he knew a foreign exchange place nearby which offers a good rate .
Surprisingly, he searched for it on his i-phone and gave me the information.
I was so amazed to find such a person who was kind enough to do that for me a stranger in NYC.
I went to the place he showed me and found the rate was great;
it was 1.48 euro a dollar.
So I saved about 70 dollars.
After that, while I was waiting for the traffic light at the intersection of the 5th Ave. ,
My!!!! Yoko Ono was also waiting for the light right next to me.
I was able to recognize her right away
by looking at her eyes through the side of her sunglasses.
I simply greeted her, saying, “Hello, Yoko-san” in Japanese,
She responded by smiling at me.
I asked her in English if it was OK to take a picture of her.
Then the attendant-like lady told me No.
But I took a photo of her from the back anyway.
To be continued.
