Ear Doctor

2015-11-16 | 日記

To our surprise, the ear doctor has been retired.

He was in his late eighties as a practicing doctor,
and has been seeing my husband for many years.

He recommended my husband should go to church when my husband began to live in the U.S.
though he himself didn’t go there.

This time around when I called the doctor’s office to schedule an appointment,
the receptionist told me that he had come down with a heart attack and had an operation last summer and resigned.

We visited the doctor who was put in a nursing home, which happened to be near our apartment.

The home was as pretty as a deluxe hotel, with 24 hour assistance.

Although he doesn’t have his family in the U.S. he wants to go back to his own apartment.
He wants us to come and see him again and again anytime since he feels lonely.

We’ll stop by at him as many times as possible.

Praying for him so he will enter the Heavenly home
