Cats

2010-12-25 | 日記
My husband keeps and feeds stray cats behind his company.
He was taking Christmas holidays off from work, so we went to see them,
thinking that they might be so anxious to be fed.
My husband whistled to call them, and there they came out of nowhere.

They gathered around the cat food we brought to them and bogged into it,
but with my husband's whistle, they looked up at us!

My husband had been living with the two cats for the period of 19 years.
He is cat-lovers.
I am a dog person, but I can't hate cats because they took care of him in his bachelor's days.

my heart rejoices in your salvation." Psalm 13:5

The Prayer of the Twin Girls

2010-12-19 | 日記
The mother of the four-year-old twin girls who come to our Sunday service
went to see a Christmas Spectacular in Radio City in Manhattan with her daughters.

She shared with me her story when she went there.
She had wanted to take her twin daughters to the Christmas show,
but the tickets were so expensive
that she almost gave up on taking them there.
However, she had found 50%-off discount tickets on the Internet!

On the day of the show, the train they took stopped on the way for some reasons for a long time.
She was so upset, thinking she would be late for the show in spite of her effort of getting the tickets.
At that point of time, the twin girls said to her, “Let's pray!,”
and continued to pray for another 30 minutes so that they could get to the show on time.

Finally they arrived at the theater. As soon as they took their seats,
the orchestral prelude finished and the curtain rose!

Their mother told me that she learned from her daughters.

The faith of the little twin girls is wonderful, isn't?
