I'm a big fan of Travolta too. Did you know that the director of "Take the Lead", a new dancing movie showing now in the US, was originally considering him as a main character of this movie, instead of Antonio Banderas? Still wondering what changed his mind.. & hoping he's coming back to dancing movies someday. I'll put an entry on the workshop soon!
What a pity! I heard that Travolta has turned down many offers of important roles in some hit movies. Maybe he considered that the role does not match his image? Personally, between John Travolta and Antonio Banderas, who do you think more suitable for the role of your mentor, Pierre Dulaine?
