Hi everyone in Starry land !!
Did you know, I ride my bicycle very far to work almost every day??
I like to take a break when I get to Nagamachi and ride along Hirosegawa (river). I usually stop by a small dam and watch the wildlife interact with the beauty of the river.
This day was a bit different as I saw a group of elementary school kids with their teacher. It looks like the teacher was telling them about the things of nature. This was a beautiful sight to me and made my heart leap with joy. I hope the children find interest and fun adventures in our beautiful countryside.
I grew up in a family from a young age to late teens going camping often. Our family would 4 X 4 to a secluded place in the desert or mountains ( around water ) and camp for 2 weeks, twice a year. We brought food but soon we had to catch and find our own food. My 3 brothers and I NEVER got bored and never wanted to go back home to the city life.
Lately, many ducks are gathering here at the dam every day to eat lots of food before winter starts. Its so fun to watch Nature before I start my work day. I hope you try it sometime !
