!!! Happy Friday From Travis sensei !!! 
I hope you and your family were safe last weekend during the typhoon. My apartment was shaking like an earthquake and the roof was popping up and down….scary! I didn’t sleep much.
The next day on Monday I went out to Aobayama and checked on the homeless people living in the forest, next to Hirose River and under the big bridge. Many, many big trees fell down but none of them fell on my homeless friends’ bamboo stick huts. I brought them some fruit and sports drinks. One man was missing but he is probably ok and one man had his blue tarp ripped off his bamboo hut. They were so happy someone was there to check on them. Next weekend I will take a new big blue tarp to one man. I enjoy helping people….how about you? It’s fun
