Last weekend, June 9th I went to main Sendai to witness Tohoku Kizuna Festival. Tohoku Kizuna Festival brings together six famous festivals from the six prefectures of the Tohoku region. I learned that this event highlights the friendship between the six prefectures of Tohoku, is held in a different city each year. This time I`m lucky because it`s Sendai`s turn to host the Tohoku Kizuna Festival!
People gathered all across Sendai to enjoy a feast of live performances, and exhibitions, and my favorite part was the food stalls. I didn`t witness some of the events like the parades because the time started around 13:30 and it was quite hot. I saw some of the parades near Jozenji-dori. It was fun because it was my first time going to the Tohoku Kizuna Festival.
Summer is on and festivals are just around the corner and I will not miss to witness those kinds of festivities.
