Hakodate City is known as the ``city of squid,'' but in recent years it has been experiencing record low catches of squid. This is because the sea water temperature is high.

I believe this is due to heated wastewater from light water reactor nuclear power plants. It is necessary to investigate the situation in which CO2 is being released due to the rise in water temperature due to heating of wastewater.

In the seas around Japan, seawater temperatures have risen by 1.24 degrees over the 100 years up to 2022. A "marine heatwave" is a sudden rise in seawater temperature over a period of several days to several years. This “frequency of occurrence” has also increased significantly.

The catch of Pacific saury, Japanese common squid, and salmon, which prefer cold water, has decreased dramatically, from a total of 490,000 tons in 2013 to 136,000 tons in 2022.

Meanwhile, yellowtail, which inhabits warm waters, has moved north, and hairtail and pufferfish have also started to be landed locally in Hokkaido and Tohoku.

Due to their structure, light water reactor nuclear power plants emit "warm wastewater." This heated wastewater has a considerable amount of heat, and there are concerns that it may cause global warming.

Hot water has a lower specific gravity, so it rises more easily. As a result, thermal wastewater accumulates near the sea surface, increasing the temperature of the air in contact with the sea surface, and as a result, the temperature of the atmosphere rises.

Japan Meteorological Agency: There are areas in the ocean that absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and areas that release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. We should pay attention to this.

「イカの街」として知られる函館市だが、近年は記録的なイカの不漁が続いている。 海水温が高いからです。

軽水炉原子力発電所の加熱排水が影響していると思います。 排水の加熱による水温上昇によりCO2が放出されている状況を調査する必要がある。

日本近海では、2022年までの100年間で海水温が1.24度上昇しました。「海洋熱波」とは、数日から数年にわたって海水温が急激に上昇することです。 この「発生頻度」も大幅に増加しています。

冷水を好むサンマ、スルメイカ、サケの漁獲量は激減し、２０１３年には３魚種計４９万トンだったが、２２年には１３万６千トンにとどまる。

一方、暖海に生息するブリは北上し、太刀魚やフグも北海道や東北で地元で水揚げされるようになりました。

軽水炉型原子力発電所は、その仕組み上「温排水」を排出します。 この加熱排水はかなりの熱量を持っており、地球温暖化の原因となることが懸念されています。

中でも、原子力発電所の加熱排水による地球温暖化の話は直接的で分かりやすいです。 （詳細は第1部資料をご参照ください）

温水は比重が軽いので上昇しやすくなります。 そのため、温排水は海面近くに滞留し、海面に接する空気の温度が上昇し、その結果、大気の温度が上昇します。

気象庁：海洋には大気から二酸化炭素を吸収する地域と、大気中に二酸化炭素を放出する地域があります。 私たちはこれに「注目「するべきです。

水温が上昇すると、水中の二酸化炭素の溶解度は減少し、未溶解の二酸化炭素により表層海水中の二酸化炭素の分圧が増加します。 （詳細は第1部資料をご参照ください）

水蒸気は温室効果ガスとみなされません。 二酸化炭素と同様に、水蒸気も赤外線を吸収する性質があり、大気の温室効果の主な原因となっています。ただし、水蒸気は温室効果ガスとはみなされません。 分かりますか。

大気の温室効果の約60％は水蒸気ですが、約30％を占める二酸化炭素に着目するのは、この自然界からのフィードバックを抑制するためです。分かりますか。

熱帯西太平洋の海面水温の低下により「エルニーニョ現象」が発生します。 海面水温の上昇によりラニーニャ現象が発生しやすくなり、その結果、水温が上昇し、降水量が増加します。

いずれにしても「軽水炉」は廃止すべきである。 冷却水を使わない「高温ガス炉型原子力発電所」の実用化開発を急ぐ必要がある。
