間違えやすい "仕事を切り上げよう"の表現

Hi, how are you doing?
Today, I'd like to pick up an expression when you want to say “let's finish today's work” to your co-worker.

Now, please imagine the following situation.
You're a manager of your company.
Now it’s almost 6 o’clock, and it's time to go home, however, most of your subordinates (,and co-workers) are still working hard, and don't seem to realize the time.
What would you say in this situation?
If you say…
“Let's stop working.”
That's a terrible mistake because it sounds like you want to quit your company.
Instead of “Let’s stop working”, you should say…
“Let’s call it a day!”
Then, you can go home without a problem!

今、夕方６時。
あなたは会社の上司です。
終業時刻ですが、ほとんどの部下（と同僚）はまだ働いており、時間に気付いている様子がありません。

こんな時は何と声をかけますか？

もし“Let's stop working.”と言ってしまうと、
“仕事を辞めよう”という意味になってしまい、とんでもない誤解を招く可能性があります。

そこで “Let’s call it a day!”（仕事を切り上げよう）と言う表現を使いましょう。

問題なく仕事を切り上げられると思います。
