However, to my surprise these people don’t even feel shamed or feel like wrong for what they are doing. One time I was betting some money with a duke but when he ran out of money, he told me he wanted to bet one more time with all his money in his pockets. I told him I do not want his money anymore so the bet must stop. All of a sudden, he tried to offer me something very weird and he asked his fellows to wake up a slave that belonged to him. At that time, I was so angry because I saw the slave being chained with some ropes and he could barely open his eyes. I wanted to buy him so much so that I could offer him a better life but I did not do that because of anger. I believed that the way that they treated this black man is so wrong that I needed to make some changed.
It took more than ten years or so to fight for this problem because at that time, all people only wanted to have their personal interests and fun but they refuse to think about the interest of other people. All the time when I tried to propose that human beings like us need to stop treating black people as the poor slaves and we need to let them enjoy their lives. A lot of people get very furious and they keep yelling at me. I think that these people do not have any compassion for their friends and the only thing that they care about is money and profit.
In the end, I finally helped the black people to gain back their own freedom and they are so thankful for me that they call me the King. However, I do not care about what they call me but the only thing that I care about is that these people can finally live decently like the most of us. It is never right to treat human beings as a slave and product no matter what good reasons they have.
