小学校でレッスン！ Lesson at Public School

 今年も元気なみんなの待つ、あの場所へ・・・！

JSDCのヨシ矢野と村中弘和が、都内の小学校を訪問。

卒業、入学、進学シーズン真っ只中、

体育館にも「おめでとう」の文字が光ってます！

今回は、相手を気遣う「思いやり」をテーマに

メレンゲ、スウィング、そして「優しいエスコートの仕方」をマスターしたよ。

This year again, we headed to the place with full of energy...

Hirokazu Muranaka and Yoshi Yano visited to a public school in Tokyo,

for social dance lessons with 3rd graders and their PTA!

With the lesson theme `Courtesy`,

we practiced Merengue, Swing, and How to gently escort ladies. 

　

いつもすごく元気な３年生！今日もパワー全開です。

レッスン後の質問コーナーでは、

「ダンスはいつから始まったんですか」

「先生の一番好きなダンスは何ですか」

「世界で一番有名なダンスは何ですか」

「ダンスは何故『ダンス』と呼ばれるんですか」

などなど、大人からはなかなか出てこないような

素朴で、結構難しい質問もたくさん飛び出しました

先生方、ご父兄の皆様にもご協力頂き、本当にありがとうございました。

After the lesson, the two instructors answered

a lot of good and 'challenging' questions from the students, such as...

'How long is history of Dance?'

'What is your most favorite dance?'

'What is the most popular dance in the world?'

'Why is dance called DANCE?'

 

また次のダンスをお楽しみに！！

 P.S.　村中先生は、その後、教室で給食をご馳走になって帰りました。
