summer schooling

"4-day summer schooling" at college is over.

大学での４日間の夏期講習会、終了。



I gave voice lessons to 6 students on the first day
and I was the emcee of the concert today.

初日、６人の生徒さんにレッスンをし
今日、コンサートの司会をしました。



I am glad to have met many young and enthusiastic musicians.

熱心な若いミュージシャンに会えて嬉しいです。




They had various types of lessons for the three days
and today, they played at the concert to show how much
they improved.

みんなは３日間で色々なレッスンを受け
今日、どれぐらい上手くなったか発表の為の
コンサートをやりました



Two of them want to continue taking my lessons.

そのうちの二人が私のレッスンを続けて
取りたいと言ってくれました。



I was kinda fascinated by how they improved in the 4 days.

４日間で彼らがうまくなっていくのを見て
ちょっと感動


They are so quick to learn. I think because they are
full of hope for the future.


覚えるのも早い。きっと、未来への希望に
溢れているから、だね。

明日の記憶

「明日の記憶」という映画を見たよ

I watched a movie "Ashita No Kioku".


主人公は、私と同い年のサラリーマンで
アルツハイマーで苦しんでいる

The hero in this movie is a business man
who is the same age as I am.

He is suffering from Alzheimer disease.


派手な映画じゃないけど、とても良かった

This is not a gorgeous type of movie,
but it is impressive.


どの家族にも素晴しい歴史があるね

Every family has its great history.



渡辺謙さんが、どうして、「さゆり」の撮影中で
ハリウッドだったのに、原作者に手紙を書いて
映画化をお願いしたのか、わかる気がした。

I understand why Ken Watanabe wrote a letter
to the author of the original novel and asked him
to make it into a movie directly, even though
he was in the middle of shooting "sayuri"
in Hollywood.
