ピピン速報：7.23. '10

ピピン、綺麗な歯で帰宅

Pippin came home with clean teeth today.




一週間ほどは、目薬をささないといけません。

I need to give him eye lotion a couple of times a day
for a week.

ピピン速報

ピピンの歯石取りは終了とのこと。

点滴やらなんやらで、もう一晩入院です。

がんばれ！ピピン！


The vet took off all the tartar on Pippin's teeth today.

Yet, he has to spend one more night in the hospital
getting antibiotics by drop infusion.

Be a good boy, Pippin.




明日、帰ってくる予定です。

I will go pick him up tomorrow evening.

ピピンが、明日の為に入院


一週間ぐらい、調子がおかしいから獣医に今朝連れてった


歯石がものすごいたまっていて
化膿し始めていた


お医者さんが明日、ピピンの熱が下がったら
歯石を取るんだけど、３９度５分。
群馬より高い！


頑張れピピン。
早く帰れますように。

午後、ネイルサロンへ

I went to the nail salon this afternoon.


新しい爪だよ
Look at my new nails.





それから、杉並でレッスン
新しい生徒さん

Then I headed to Suginami and gave a private lesson
to a new student.


レッスンの後、彼女を６次元に連れてって
夕ご飯食べた
お店の人達に久々に会えて良かった

食べる前に、それが今日初めての食事だと
気付いた


After the lesson, I took her to Rokujigen and had dinner together.
It was so good to see the people there after a while.

Right before I had dinner, I found out that this was the first meal of the day.



ルイボス茶が大きな茶碗に入れられて
出て来た
マスター曰く、ガラス製の抹茶茶碗なんだって
大きさがわかるように角砂糖を置いたよ

Rooibos tea was served in a big bowl.
The master said that it is a glass bowl for Maccha.
I put sugar cubes beside it to let you know how big it is.


私達は二人ともゴーヤカレーを注文
苦いけど、美味しかった

We both had Goya Curry and Rice.
Tastes bitter, but good.

今日は一日、楽しんだ

I had fun all day.


いい感じの夢を見て、起きたら10時半頃
髪もお化粧も衣装も全部、家でやってから
中目黒へ

I dreamt of something nice
and it was about 10 am when I woke up.

I did up my hair, put make-up and
put on a stage dress before I headed to Nakameguro.



雲が少し恐かった

I was scared of the clouds a little bit.

楽屋14周年記念のイベントだよ
2 daysの、千秋楽

We had a concert commemorating the 14th anniversary
of Rakuya.

Today was the last day.



リハーサル終えて、まかない


We had curry and rice after the rehearsal.


カレー、美味しかった
Tasty!


なんだか、気になった焼酎
お酒、一滴も飲まないけど
瓶は大好き

Shochu.

I like the bottle.
I do not drink any, but I love bottles.



I went out from the crowd
to get some air after the rehearsal.

Unexpectedly
I saw my friend Dai-chan waiting there
with his friend Totorom.
Thank you, Dai-chan for coming
and thank you for your birthday present.


リハーサル終えて、人ごみが苦しくなって外へ
すると、思いがけなく、ダイちゃんが
ととろむさんを連れて来てくれました
ありがとう～
誕生日プレゼントもありがとう～～～～



We were perfuming in a very relaxing ambience.
The people in the audience seemed to enjoy our music.

本番は、ゆる～い感じだったけど
お客様は、楽しんでくれたようです


One of my students: Ponk came with his sister
and they gave me a birthday present. Thank you.

私の歌の生徒だったポンクも妹さんと来てくれた
その上、プレゼントもありがとう！！



After the performance, we went to Starbucks near Nakameguro
station to escape from the heat and humidity.

出番を終えて、なんだか暑くて
中目の駅前のスタバへ


It was cool and comfortable. yeah.

涼しい～～～～

だから、あったかいカフェラテと
ケーキを食べました


I had hot cafe latte and a piece of cake.



そして、なんだか小腹空いて来たところに
めっちゃタイプのホルモン屋発見
そして、入った

On the way back to Rakuya,
we found a "horumon" place that looked so good.

It reminded me so much of my hometown.

Como chan is so shy that he makes funny face like this
whenever I try to take pix of him.

皮を下に、まず焼いて下さい

These are "Tecchan", but they call it "shimachou" in the Kanto area.
I suggest you to cook the skin first.


I ordered "oppai" because I thought it was my favorite "shibire"
but it was different.

Real Shibire must be more expensive.

I am a Horumon maniac.
I can be so happy as long as I can eat tecchan.

私が知ってるシビレとは違ってた

そして、また楽屋に戻って
金子マリさんの歌を聞いた
ギターは森園さん！ちょ～～～かっこいい！！


We went back to Rakuya with full stomachs
and listened to Mari Kaneko.
The guitarist tonight was that legendary Morizono Katsutoshi.
So cool !


終了後、打ち上げがありましたが
ホルモンでいっぱいの私はお茶だけ
で、マリさんと久々にお逢いして
楽しくお話しが出来ました


We had a party after the event.
I was so full that I couldn't eat anything.
So I just drank Oolong Tea



It's been a long long time since I talked to her last.
I was glad to see her again like this.

なが～い、一日

It was a long day.

昨日、５時に寝て、今朝、10時に起きた。
快晴。

ホテルを出て、タクシーに乗ろうとしたら
間違えて河原町通りに出てしまい、
あぁ～～～、えげつない人ごみに巻き込まれた
大失敗。祇園祭だもん。


I went to sleep at 5 am last night
and woke up at 10 am this morning.
It was so sunny today.


I checked out of the hotel and tried to catch a taxi.
I walked to the Kawaramachi Street
and found myself get drown into the throng of people.
I was so careless. It was a Gion matsuri going on.


誰かが絵に描いたような青空に圧倒された。
自然は最高の芸術家だね。



I was overwhelmed by the blue and white
which was so clear and beautiful like as if
someone painted in the sky.

Nature is the best artist.



どうにか地下鉄駅まで辿り着いて、京都駅まで行けた。
新幹線に間に合って良かった。

I finally got to the subway station and went
to Kyoto. I was glad I didn't miss my Shinkansen.




帰宅後、洗濯して、部屋かたづけた。

I did laundry, tidied up my room a little
after I got home.



眠くて７時頃寝ちゃった。
起きたら12時頃。



I became sleepy and couldn't hold it.
I went to bed at around 7 pm.
and it was about midnight when I woke up.



ピピンが枕元で寝てて、ふわふわだけどちょっと暑苦しい。

Pippin was also sleeping with me.
He is furry as usual but a bit annoying in this season.



頂いたメールなどにお返事して、
今は、明日の準備しながら、Tom Waits聞いてる。


Then I replied to the birthday mails from my friends.

Now I am listening to Tom Waits
preparing for tomorrow.


トムって、孤独の良さも寂しさも知ってる男。

Tom knows what solitude means.

コチ・ヂャンも出ます（１７時からです）


I'm going to sing with Como-chan tomorrow
for the 14 anniversary event for Rakuya in Nakameguro.

We will start at 5 pm.

July 15th

８時に起きて学校へ。

I woke up at 8 am and headed to school.


午前中のクラスでは、私が発見したばっかりの
スイングするには？の秘訣を伝えた

At class in the morning, I taught my students
what I have just found out. The secret of how to swing.


生徒さんの役に立つといいな

I hope my lecture will help them get what they need.



ミーティングで忙しくてランチを食べ損ねちゃったんだ


I missed my lunch because I was busy about meeting
some of my students.

ワゴンで何か買おうと思っていたら今日は来なかった

I thought I would buy something to eat at the van,
but today they did not come.



ランチをあきらめて、覚悟を決めた
夜６時半まで頑張らなくちゃ。

I gave up lunch and resigned myself for the situation.
”I have to hold on until 6:30 pm.”


でも、想い出したの！
生徒さん１人、今日はお休みだ！って

Then I remembered that one of my students was
absent today.


で、
なんとかギリギリ
先生用の食堂で遅いランチを取ることが
出来ました

I just barely grabbed a late lunch at the teachers lounge.



Yet, my lunch looks gorgeous, doesn't it?
そのわりには、ゴージャスなランチ


最後のAランチ。ラッキー！
This was the LAST "A" lunch.
I was lucky.



帰宅
疲れた足、だけど心は羽のように軽やか
I came home with tired feet, but my heart was light as a feather.






明日は京都へ行くよ

I'm going to Kyoto tomorrow.

起きたらめっちゃ晴れ

It was so sunny when I woke up.





プリクルは今レコーディング中

Primitive Cool is now recording our first album.



私は今日、２曲歌った

Today I overdubbed two songs for that.



歌う前に、私達の最後にやったライブを聴いたんだけど
歌、めっちゃ良かった！

I listened to our last concert before I started singing.
I sang very good!!



あの録音をCDにして売ればいいと思う。

We had better make that recording into a CD format and
put it on sale.



スタジオで、
今、レイラ・ハサウェイと一緒に日本に来ている
NY在住の松野啓太さんに会った。

I met a guitarist from NY Keita Matsuno at the studio.
He is now touring Japan with Lalah Hathaway.


レコーディングの後、安部さんと、スタジオ近くのお好み焼きを食べに行った。

After recording, Abe Jun and I went to an Okonomiyaki place near the studio
to have dinner together.

ブルースアレーでライブやるよ！

Primitive cool (without me) is going to have a gig
at Blues Alley on the 22nd of this month.


今日はいい日だった。

It was a very nice day today.

Big mistake

今日は、大失敗
１時半から学校だったはずなのに
うっかり忘れてて
夏休みと勘違い

I made a big mistake today.
I was scheduled to give lessons at school from 1:30 pm,
but I carelessly forgot about that.
I just misunderstood that we are having
seasonal holidays.


生徒さんが遅刻のお知らせをメールくれるまで
気付かなかった
最低の気分

I didn't know that until my student gave me an e-mail
to tell me that she was going to be late.
I felt like sh*t.
(excuse me)



２時だったけど、学校には行けない。
他の打ち合わせを入れてしまってたから

本当にごめんなさい


It was about 2 pm, but I could not go to school.
because I made an appointment with a different person.

I am sorry!!!





打ち合わせ帰り、渋谷にある好きな定食屋へ
おいしくて、安くて、店員が感じがいい

On the way back from the meeting,
I dropped in my favorite Teishoku place in Shibuya.

The food is good, the price is reasonable
and the people are friendly.
