さて、これらはバビロンの王ネブカデネザルがバビロンに連れ去った捕虜のうちから上って来た地方の子達で、一人一人自分の町に戻ってエルサレムとユダに帰って来た者達です。
2 ゼルバベルと共に来た者、エシュア、ネヘミヤ、セラヤ、レレヤ、モルデカイ、ビルシャン、ミスパル、ビグバイ、レフム、バアナ。イスラエルの民の男達の数。
3 パロシュの子孫達、二千百七十二人。
4 シェファティヤの子孫達、三百七十二人。
5 アラハの子孫達、七百七十五人。
6 パハトモアの子孫達、エシュアとヨアブの子孫達、二千八百十二人。
7 エラムの子孫達、一千二百五十四人。
8 ザットゥの子孫達、九百四十五人。

43 ネティニムの人々：ジハの子、ハスファの子、タブバオトの子。
44 ケロスの子孫達、シアハの子孫達、パドンの子孫達。
45 レバナの子孫達、ハガバの子孫達、アックブの子孫達。
46 ハガブの子孫達、サルマイの子孫達、ハナンの子孫達。
47 ギデルの子孫達、ガハルの子孫達、レアヤの子孫達。
48 レジンの子孫達、ネコダの子孫達、ガザムの子孫達。
49 ウザの子孫達、パセアの子孫達、ベサイの子孫達。
50 アスナの子孫達、メウニムの子孫達、ネフシムの子孫達。
51 バクブクの子孫達、ハクファの子孫達、ハルフルの子孫達。
52 バズルトの子孫達、メヒダの子孫達、ハルシャの子孫達。
53 バルコスの子孫達、シセラの子孫達、テマの子孫達。
54 ネジヤの子孫達、ハティファの子孫達。
55 ソロモンのしもべの子孫達：ソタイの子孫達、ハソファエトの子孫達、ペルダの子孫達。
56 ヤアラの子孫達、ダーコンの子孫達、ギデルの子孫達。
57 シェファティアの子孫達、ハティルの子孫達、ポヘレス・ハズベームの子孫達、アミの子孫達。
58 ネティニムとソロモンのしもべ達の子孫達は皆、三百九十二人でした。
59 テル・メラ、テル・ハルシャ、ケルブ、アダン、インメルから上って来た者達ですが、彼らはその先祖の家、その子孫を、イスラエルの者かどうかを言うことができませんでした。
60 デライヤの子、トビヤの子、ネコダの子、六百五十二人。
61 祭司の子孫達はハバヤの子、ハコズの子、バルジライの子で、ギレアデ人バルジライの娘達を妻とし、その名をもって呼ばれた者達です。
62 これらの者はその籍、すなわち系図を捜し求めましたが、見つからなかったので、汚れた者とみなされてしまい、祭司職からはずされました。

63 そこでティルシャタ｛総督｝が彼らに言いました。
「ウリムとトンミムを持つ祭司が立つまでは、最も聖なる物を食べてはならない。」
63 それで、総督は、ウリムとトンミムを使える祭司が起こるまでは最も聖なるものを食べてはならない、と命じた。
64 全会衆は合わせて四万二千三百三十人でした。
65 その下男と下女とは七千三百七人であり、また歌う男二百人と歌う女二百人とがいました。
66 彼らの馬は七百三十六頭、騾馬は二百四十五頭でした。
67 そのらくだは四百三十五頭、そのろばは六千七百二十頭でした。
68 先祖の家の長の中には、エルサレムにある主の宮｛家｝に来た時、神の宮｛家｝のために進んで捧げ、これをその場所に立てた者がいました。
68 一族のかしらのある者達は、エルサレムにある主の宮に着いたとき、それをもとの所に建てるために、神の宮のために自分から進んでささげ物をした。
69 彼らはその能力に応じて、金三千二百ダリク、銀五千ミナ、祭司の上着百着を仕事｛工事｝の宝庫に納め｛捧げ｝ました。
69 すなわち、彼らは自分達にできることとして工事の資金のために金六万一千ダクリ、銀五千ミナ、祭司の長服百着をささげた。
70 こうして、祭司とレビ人と、民の一部と、歌い手と、運人、ネティニムがそれぞれの町々に住み、全イスラエルはそれぞれの町々に住むようになりました。
70 こうして、祭司、レビ人、民のある者達、歌うたい、門衛、宮に仕えるしもべ達は、自分達のもとの町々に住みつき、すべてのイスラエル人は、自分達のもとの町々に住みついた。

 

1 バビロンの王ネブカデネザルがバビロンに引いて行った捕囚の民で、その捕囚の身から解かれて上り、エルサレムとユダに戻り、めいめい自分の町に戻ったこの州の人々は次のとおりです。
2 ゼルバベルといっしょに帰って来た者は、ヨシュア、ネヘミヤ、セラヤ、レエラヤ、モルデカイ、ビルシャン、ミスパル、ビグワイ、レフム、バアナ。イスラエルの民の人数は次のとおりです。
3 パルオシュ族、二千百七十二名。
4 シェファテヤ族、三百七十二名。
5 アラフ族、七百七十五名。
6 ヨシュアとヨアブのニ族からなるパハテ・モアブ族、二千八百十二名。
7 エラム族、一千二百五十四名。
8 ザト族、九百四十五名。
9 ザカイ族、七百六十名。
10 バニ族、六百四十二名。
11 ベバイ族、六百二十三名。
12 アズガデ族、一千二百二十二名。
13 アドニカム族、六百六十六名。

43 宮に仕えるしもべ達は、ツィハ族、ハスファ族、タバオテ族、
44 ケロス族、シアハ族、パドン族、
45 レバナ族、ハガバ族、アクブ族、
46 ハガブ族、サルマイ族、ハナン族、
47 ギデル族、ガハル族、レアヤ族、
48 レツィン族、ネコダ族、ガザム族、
49 ウザ族、パセアハ族、ベサイ族、
50 アスナ族、メウニム族、ネフシム族、
51 バクブク族、ハクファ族、ハルフル族、
52 バツルテ族、メヒダ族、ハルシャ族、
53 バルコス族、シセラ族、テマフ族、
54 ネツィアハ族、ハティファ族、
55 ソロモンのしもべ達の子孫は、ソタイ族、ソフェレテ族、ペルダ族、
56 ヤラ族、ダルコン族、ギデル族、
57 シェファテヤ族、ハティル族、ポケレテ・ハツェバイム族、アミ族。
58 宮に仕えるしもべ達と、ソロモンのしもべ達の子孫は、合計三百九十二名。
59 次の人々は、テル・メラフ、テル・ハルシャ、ケルブ、アダン、イメルから引き揚げて来たが、自分達の先祖の家系と血統がイスラエル人でしたかどうかを、証明することができなかった。
60 すなわち、デラヤ族、トビヤ族、ネコダ族、六百五十二名。
61 祭司の子孫のうちでは、ホバヤ族、コツ族、バルジライ族。―このバルジライは、、ギルアデ人バルジライの娘の一人を妻にめとったので、その名をもって呼ばれていた―
62 これらの人々は、自分達の系図書きを捜してみたが、見つからなかったので、彼らは祭司職を果たす資格がない者とされた。
63 それで、総督は、ウリムとトンミムを使える祭司が起こるまでは最も聖なるものを食べてはならない、と命じた。
64 全集団の合計は四万二千三百六十名でした。
65 このほかに、彼らの男女の奴隷が七千三百三十七名いた。また彼らには男女の歌うたいが二百名いた。
66 彼らの馬は七百三十六頭。彼らの騾馬は二百四十五頭。
67 彼らのらくだは四百三十五頭。ろばは六千七百二十頭でした。
68 一族のかしらのある者達は、エルサレムにある主の宮に着いたとき、それをもとの所に建てるために、神の宮のために自分から進んでささげ物をした。
69 すなわち、彼らは自分達にできることとして工事の資金のために金六万一千ダクリ、銀五千ミナ、祭司の長服百着をささげた。
70 こうして、祭司、レビ人、民のある者達、歌うたい、門衛、宮に仕えるしもべ達は、自分達のもとの町々に住みつき、すべてのイスラエル人は、自分達のもとの町々に住みついた。

Now these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and that returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
2 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel: 
3 The children of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy and two. 
4 The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two. 
5 The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five. 
6 The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve. 
7 The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four. 
8 The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five. 
9 The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore. 
10 The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two. 
11 The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three. 
12 The children of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty and two. 
13 The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six. 
14 The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six. 
15 The children of Adin, four hundred fifty and four. 
16 The children of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety and eight. 
17 The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three. 
18 The children of Jorah, a hundred and twelve. 
19 The children of Hashum, two hundred twenty and three. 
20 The children of Gibbar, ninety and five. 
21 The children of Beth-lehem, a hundred twenty and three. 
22 The men of Netophah, fifty and six.
23 The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty and eight. 
24 The children of Azmaveth, forty and two. 
25 The children of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three. 
26 The children of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one. 
27 The men of Michmas, a hundred twenty and two. 
28 The men of Beth-el and Ai, two hundred twenty and three. 
29 The children of Nebo, fifty and two. 
30 The children of Magbish, a hundred fifty and six. 
31 The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four. 
32 The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty. 
33 The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five. 
34 The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five. 
35 The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty. 
36 The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three. 
37 The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two. 
38 The children of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven. 
39 The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen. 
40 The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four. 
41 The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred twenty and eight. 
42 The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all a hundred thirty and nine. 
43 The Nethinim: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth;
44 the children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon;
45 the children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub;
46 the children of Hagab, the children of Salmai, the children of Hanan;
47 the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah;
48 the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam;
49 the children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai;
50 the children of Asnah, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephusim;
51 the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur;
52 the children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha;
53 the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Temah;
54 the children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
55 The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Hassophereth, the children of Peruda;
56 the children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel;
57 the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the children of Ami.
58 All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two. 
59 And these were they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60 the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two. 
61 And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62 These sought their register, that is, the genealogy, but it was not found; therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
63 And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
65 beside their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
67 their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty. 
68 And some of the heads of fathers' houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place;
69 they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' tunics. 
70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
