ある日、うさぎのピーターは森の中で紅葉を楽しんでいました。ピーターは「紅葉がこんなに綺麗なら、クリスマスツリーも紅葉で飾ったらどうだろう？」と思いつきました。
ピーターは早速、森の仲間たちに声をかけました。「みんな、クリスマスツリーを紅葉で飾ろうよ！」と提案すると、リスのリッキーが「それは面白そうだね！」と賛成しました。さらに、キツネのフレディも「僕は赤い葉っぱを集めるよ！」と元気に答えました。フクロウのオリバーも「私も手伝うよ！」とフクロウらしい落ち着いた声で言いました。
みんなで紅葉を集めて、クリスマスツリーに飾り始めました。リッキーは木の上から黄色い葉っぱを集め、フレディは地面から赤い葉っぱを拾い、ピーターは草むらからオレンジ色の葉っぱを見つけました。オリバーは高い木の枝から色とりどりの葉っぱを運んできました。
しかし、風が吹くたびに紅葉が「サラサラ」と音を立てて落ちてしまいます。ピーターは「これは大変だ！」と焦りましたが、リッキーが「風が吹くたびに新しい紅葉を飾ればいいんだよ！」と笑いました。
結局、紅葉が落ちるたびに新しい紅葉を飾り続けることになり、みんなで笑いながら楽しい時間を過ごしました。紅葉が落ちるたびに、まるで結婚式のお色直しのようで、クリスマスツリーも喜んでいるようでした。こうして、12月7日、クリスマスツリーの日をみんなで楽しく過ごしました。
The Christmas Tree of Autumn Leaves
One day, Peter the Rabbit was enjoying the autumn leaves in the forest. Peter thought, "If the autumn leaves are so beautiful, why not decorate the Christmas tree with them?"
Peter quickly called out to his forest friends. "Everyone, let's decorate the Christmas tree with autumn leaves!" he suggested. Ricky the Squirrel agreed, "That sounds fun!" Freddy the Fox said, "I'll gather red leaves!" and Oliver the Owl added, "I'll help too!"
They all started gathering autumn leaves to decorate the Christmas tree. Ricky collected yellow leaves from the trees, Freddy picked up red leaves from the ground, Peter found orange leaves in the grass, and Oliver brought colorful leaves from high branches.
But every time the wind blew, the leaves made a "sara-sara" sound and fell off. Peter worried, "This is a problem!" but Ricky laughed and said, "It's okay, we can just keep adding new leaves!"
So, they kept decorating the tree with new leaves every time the old ones fell. They had a great time laughing together. The tree looked like it was getting a new outfit every time, just like at a wedding. And so, they all happily celebrated December 7th, Christmas Tree Day.
