ある日、ウサギのリリーは冷蔵庫を開けて、食べ物を探していました。すると、冷蔵庫の中からカメのトートが顔を出しました。「トート、何してるの？」とリリーが驚いて聞くと、トートは「冷蔵庫の中で漢字クイズをしてたんだ」と答えました。リリーは「それは面白そう！」と興味津々。
トートは冷蔵庫の中の食べ物を使って漢字クイズを出題しました。「この野菜の漢字は何でしょう？」とトートがキャベツを見せると、リリーは「えっと…キャベツの漢字なんて知らないよ！」と困惑。
すると、サルのモンキーがやってきて、「キャベツの漢字は『甘藍』だよ！」と答えました。次に、トートが「この果物の漢字は？」とバナナを見せると、モンキーは「バナナの漢字は『甘蕉』だよ！」と答えました。さらに、トートが「この食べ物の漢字は？」と琥珀色のビンを見せると、クマのベアが「ハチミツの漢字は『蜂蜜』だよ！」と答えました。リリーは「みんな、本当に漢字に詳しいね！」と感心しました。
フクロウのオウルが「今日は12月12日、漢字の日だから、みんなで漢字をもっと勉強しよう！」と言うと、みんなは「そうだね！」と大賛成しました。その後も、冷蔵庫の中の食べ物を使って漢字クイズが続き、みんなで大笑いしながら楽しみました。
Kanji Quiz in the Fridge
One day, Lily the rabbit opened the fridge to look for food. Suddenly, Torto the turtle popped his head out from inside the fridge. "Torto, what are you doing?" Lily asked in surprise. Torto replied, "I'm doing a kanji quiz in the fridge." Lily was very interested and said, "That sounds fun!"
Torto started the kanji quiz using the food in the fridge. "What is the kanji for this vegetable?" Torto showed a cabbage. Lily was puzzled and said, "Um... I don't know the kanji for cabbage!"
Then, Monkey came along and said, "The kanji for cabbage is '甘藍'!" Next, Torto showed a banana and asked, "What is the kanji for this fruit?" Monkey answered, "The kanji for banana is '甘蕉'!"
Then, Torto showed a jar of amber-colored liquid and asked, "What is the kanji for this food?" Bear answered, "The kanji for honey is '蜂蜜'!" Lily was amazed and said, "Everyone, you really know a lot about kanji!"
Owl then said, "Today is December 12th, Kanji Day, so let's study more kanji together!" Everyone agreed and said, "Yes!" They continued the kanji quiz with the food in the fridge and had a great time laughing together.
