米系のソフトウェア企業、「ペイメント・ゲートウェイ」を開発／導入する企業で日本勤務の「シニア・プロジェクト・マネジャー」を募集しております。
募集内容は下記の通りですが、この案件に関しましては英文のものをお送り致します。
Our client is a US IT MNC with regional presence (has office in Tokyo) that deals with payment gateways software - for a Japan Snr Project Mgr. They sells mainly to the banks - as such, the candidate must have a background working on banking projects (for a vendor) with preference for similar projects in e-payments or payment gateways.
Reporting to the Director, North Asia Services, the primary role of the position is to oversee and manage the services business for the entire region of Japan and to support the sales and services teams in project management of customer requirements and budget.
Other responsibilities include :
- Manage projects of current and new customers across multiple phases of the projects and to provide accurate information about business needs and priorities
- Provide leadership to the project team in defining project resources, performance reviews and pre and post implementation evaluations
- Oversee various aspects of the projects which may include research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit.
- Develop project plan schedules and ensure timely completion of projects, within budget
- Manage potential delivery problems and work to mitigate any risks
- Coordinate resources at local and globally level and partner with internal departments to oversee each phase of the project
- Assist with managing acceptance of and monitor project deliverables, milestones and progress throughout project life
- Maintain project documentation and ensure appropriate communications occur
- Ensure company and industry project methodologies and processes are followed.
- Serves as liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
- Partner and build relationships with the clients, users and technical staff to build strong cross-functional teams that can work through project challenges.
- Ensure the project scope is clearly communicated to the client and any out of scope work is identified early and impacts assessed.
- Keep appropriate people informed of project progress and disseminate information on any problems or potential delays
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or business, MBA preferred
- 10 - 15 years in project management with relevant industry experience that includes understanding of e-payment systems and related financial technologies
- Resourceful, analytical, process-oriented, customer-orientated and a team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and spoken
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision, beyond the extended hours when necessary to support the Asia Pacific sales team
- Pls note that the role requires travelling within Japan and is a newly created role. The role is individual contributing role. The budget will be an OTE of btw US$120K to US$150K (90/10 split).
