主の祈り

「あなたが祈るときはこう言いなさい。

天におられるわたしたちの父よ、

御名が崇められますように。」

主の祈りの最初の行は「主の祈り」です。これは祈りの中で非常に重要で力強い部分だと思います。なぜなら、祈りのこの部分は、祈りの中で父の前に出るたびに私たちが取るべき姿勢を教えてくれるからです。

祈りの中でのあなたの姿勢は、部外者の立場ではありません。神を父と呼び掛けるということは、神があなたを神の子として認めていることを意味します。あなたは神の息子/娘です。

Our Father

"When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name."

The first line of the Lord's prayer is, 'Our Father'. I believe this is a very significant and powerful part of the prayer. This is because this part of the prayer informs us of the position we should assume, every time we come before the Father in prayer.

Your position in prayer is not from the stance of an outsider. If you are to address God as Father, it means that He acknowledges you as His child. You are a son/daughter of God.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Ephesians 1:3-5 When you placed your confidence and complete trust in Jesus, you were adopted by God. You have full access to God's resources and identity. There's nothing you could have done to earn this position—it has been freely given to you by God, through faith in Jesus.

When you approach God the Father with assurance in that truth, that you are His child, it automatically shifts the dynamics of your prayers. There is less fear and more freedom.

A Prayer of Love

神様、あなたが私に示してくださった素晴らしい愛に感謝します。私も同じように他の人を愛せるよう祈ります。私の人生において人々を優先し、困っている人に仕え、イエスの愛をまだ聞いたことのない人に伝えることができるよう、あなたの聖霊によって私を助けてください。イエスの御名によって、アーメン。

God, I thank you for the amazing love that You have shown me. I pray that I can love others in my life in that same way. Please help me by Your Spirit to prioritize people in my life, serve those who are in need, and share the love of Jesus with those who haven't heard. In Jesus' name, Amen.
