イザヤ書６１章

 

主は私に油を注いで、へりくだる者に良い知らせを伝え、心砕かれた者を縛り、捕われ人に解放を告げ、縛られている者に目を開かせるために、私を遣わされたからです。
2 それは、主の喜ばれる年と、私達の神の復讐の日を宣べ伝え、悲しむ者をすべて慰めるためです。
3 シオンで嘆く者に任じ、灰に花輪を、喪に喜びの油を、沈んだ霊に賛美の外套を与え、義のたなごころ、主の植えるものと呼ばれ、主の栄光を得るようにするためです。
4 彼らは古い荒れ地に建て、かつての荒れ地を起こし、また荒れ果てた町々、すなわち幾世代にもわたる荒れ果てた町々を新しくします。
5 また、よそ者が立てられてあなたの家畜を養い、異国人があなたの鋤となり、あなたの葡萄畑を耕す者となります。
6 しかし、あなたがたは主の祭司と名づけられ、人はあなたがたを私達の神の司と呼びます。
7 あなたがたの恥は二倍であり、そのために彼らは喜んだ。
「混乱が彼らの分である。」
それゆえ、彼らはその地で二倍のものを所有し、永遠の喜びが彼らに臨みます。
8 主である私は正義を愛し、不義を伴う強奪を憎む。
9 彼らの子孫達は諸国の間に知られ、その子孫達は諸民族の間に知れ渡ります。
10 私は主を大いに喜び、私の魂は私の神を喜んでいます。
11 地がその生長をもたらし、園がその中に蒔いたものを生長させるように、主なる神はすべての国の前に勝利と栄光を生長させます。

 

1 神である主の霊が、私の上にある。主は私に油をそそぎ、貧しい者に良い知らせを伝え、心の傷ついた者をいやすために、私を遣わされた。捕らわれ人には解放を、囚人には釈放を告げ、
2 主の恵みの年と、私達の神の復讐の日を告げ、すべての悲しむ者を慰め、
3 シオンの悲しむ者たちに、灰の代わりに頭の飾りを、悲しみの代わりに喜びの油を、憂いの心の代わりに賛美の外套を着けさせるためである。彼らは、義の樫の木、栄光を現す主の植木と呼ばれよう。
4 彼らは昔の廃墟を建て直し、先の荒れ跡を復興し、廃墟の町々、代々の荒れ跡を一新する。
5 他国人は、あなたがたの羊の群れを飼うようになり、外国人が、あなたがたの農夫となり、ぶどう作りとなる。
6 しかし、あなたがたは主の祭司ととなえられ、私達の神に仕える者と呼ばれる。あなたがたは国々の力を食い尽くし、その富を誇る。
7 あなたがたは恥に代えて、二倍のものを受ける。人々は侮辱に代えて、その分け前に喜び歌う。それゆえ、その国で二倍のものを所有し、とこしえの喜びが彼らのものとなる。
8 まことに、私は公義を愛する主だ。私は不法な略奪を憎む。私は誠実を尽くして彼らに報い、とこしえの契約を彼らと結ぶ。
9 彼らの子孫は国々のうちで、彼らのすえは国々の民のうちで知れ渡る。彼らを見る者はみな、彼らが主に祝福された子孫であることを認める。
10 私は主によって大いに楽しみ、私のたましいも、私の神によって喜ぶ。主が私に、救いの衣を着せ、正義の外套をまとわせ、花婿のように栄冠をかぶらせ、花嫁のように宝玉で飾ってくださるからだ。
11 地が芽を出し、園が蒔かれた種を芽ばえさせるように、神である主が義と賛美とを、すべての国の前に芽ばえさせるからだ。

The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the year of the LORD'S good pleasure, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called terebinths of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, wherein He might glory.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall renew the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and aliens shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But ye shall be named the priests of the LORD, men shall call you the ministers of our God; ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their splendour shall ye revel.
7 For your shame which was double, and for that they rejoiced: 'Confusion is their portion'; therefore in their land they shall possess double, everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8 For I the LORD love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed. 
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of victory, as a bridegroom putteth on a priestly diadem, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her growth, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause victory and glory to spring forth before all the nations.
