想像以上に安い

先週、洋服の量販店H and Mでコートを買ってしまいました。

それほど寒くないので、日本から持参したものでも十分かなと思っていました。が、「SALE」の文字に思わず店に入ってしまったら、それが最後でした。物によっては70%オフとなっていたり、元々定価でも安いのですが、それがさらに安いのです。但し、色、サイズは限られていますが。

そんな中で、自分に合ったものが見つかったので思わず買ってしまいました。それがダウン。まるで登山でもするかのようなデザインで、暖かい国では絶対に着られないでしょうが、ここでは皆普通に着ています。

運がいいというか、今週から急に寒くなりました。とうとう昼でも氷点下です。早速毎日それを着ています。部屋で着たら汗をかいてしまいますが、真冬日には丁度いいようです。

「衣食住はその地の物がよい」言われますが、やはり冬服は現地の物の方が気候に合っているのでしょう。激安でしたが重宝しています。

Experimental study

I have been working in experimental study twice a week since this month.

The laboratory in AKH is quite excellent. I think that it seems to be possible that we can perform considerable operation in human under general anesthesia, although we deal with swine weight 30-35 kg.

To my surprised, many staffs work in the laboratory; a few men prepare our animals including anesthesia, intubation, and setting. A nurse manages the animal in hemodynamic and record the study in the whole. A radiological technician and several operative nurses also assist us, and other many coworkers are there.

Moreover many medical students help our study as their medical practice. I am supposed to make over 100 samples from one animal per day, so if I were alone it would be impossible to manage such a biological sample.
All samples are put appropriately into some special liquid or deep freezer and so on after being named as soon as possible by medical students. I have only to cut necessary tissue and hand in them.

I remind of my post graduate course in which I used to do most of subjects and evaluation without assistant.

I am not sure that I get fantastic results, but it must be opportunity to consider certain phenomenon with scientific thought and compose medical paper logically in English.
