I was tired yesterday.
My smartphone says that I walked 15km a day

There is more to story to get to Kailua beach here.
If you have a plan to visit there, I hope this will be some of help.

I got off the bus stop called 'Kailua Oneawa'
It's close to Kailua town.

If you want to go to Kailua beach from there,
There are three options here.

1. Transfer the route 70 bus.

However, the route 70 bus does not run so often. Once a hour or so.

2. Rent a bicycle at Kailua town.

3. Just walk and walk....along with Kailua street.
I went and returned on foot.
Actually it took 40 minutes in total ; roughly 2km.

So I recommend to rent a bicycle.
It can save your time and energy!

Thank you for waiting.

Here is the phot of Kailua beach.

Amazing

Taking The bus is a tricky to the sightseers like me.
Once you get the hung of it, that' a piece of cake.

This time , I took the route 57.

As I posted earlier, I missed the closest bus stop Kailua town.

Gee....

Then I decided to go to the final bus stop; Sea life park. I think I can catch The bus heads for Kailua town there.

I waited and waited.

That route doesn't run so often.

With sitting on the bench, a young woman and middle aged lady started talking to me.

They could be a mother and daughter.
They said that they're waiting for more than 45minutes to take 57 The bus.

If the bus doesn't come for more than an hour, they'll get a taxi to go to Kailua.

She proposed to get on a taxi together!!
Wow!
That's sounds nice!
We can share the taxi fee.

Then we found The bus came!
The route 57!!
