He specifically cited enhanced arrest and detention authority for officers, tougher sentencing of convicted terrorists, and one area of particular alarm.

“Today’s terror suspect entered our country through extended-family chain migration, which is incompatible with national security,” the President said. “Congress must end chain migration.”

‘This one will go down as especially special’
Today marks the beginning of the eight-day celebration of Hanukkah. The President and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed members of the Jewish community to the White House last week to wish them a blessed and happy holiday.

The First Family struck a personal note. “I am also proud that my beautiful grandchildren . . . have joined us tonight, right here as we celebrate with all of you the sacred traditions that they observe each year at home,” the President said. He also made passing reference to last week’s decision from the White House to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. “The miracle of Hanukkah is the miracle of Israel,” he said.

The U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy (OTP) released an analysis yesterday that considers what will happen to federal revenue if the Senate Finance Committee’s version of tax reform becomes law.

But OTP’s report underscores the real debate should be about how much we can help the economy grow. 刑務所はＹｅｓマン教育だよ！受刑者の軍隊式行進は人権侵害

受刑者に「軍隊式」の行進をさせたのは人権侵害にあたるとして大阪弁護士会は１２日、
大阪刑務所に是正勧告を出した。
同会によると２０１１年１２月から１２年８月、
刑務官が移動中の受刑者に、腕や足を水平程度まで上げ「イチ、ニ」と
声を出して行進するよう指導したといい「行き過ぎだ」としている。
同刑務所は取材に「声をかけさせてはいるが大声は強要しておらず、

青森の海岸付近３遺体＝木造船漂着の深浦町

１２日午前７時４５分ごろ、青森県深浦町の千畳敷海岸付近に
遺体が浮かんでいると地元の漁業協同組合から青森海上保安部に通報があり、
同保安部が３人の遺体を確認した。

日本海に面した同町では１１月以降、
北朝鮮からとみられる木造船が５隻漂着し、同保安部などが関連を含めて調べている。

同保安部によると、見つかった遺体は男性で、
１人はズボンを身につけ、２人は衣服がなかった。所持品はない。
同町の沖合では今月４日に北朝鮮から来たとみられる木造船が
転覆した状態で漂流しているのが見つかった。
悪天候で調査できずにいたが、１２日に船が大破していることを確認したという。
