Are Trump tariffs better than EV enforcement? - The real thoughts of US car dealers

I will provide the missing materials so please request by email.

2025-02-28: Weekday Edition,
"Ford CEO" claimed that Trump tariffs would have a "devastating impact" on the auto industry, but US car dealers say "Trump tariffs" are "a little better" than Biden's "EV mandate".

US dealers welcome President Trump. In a survey of car dealers conducted by AN from January 2 to 16, 2025, 64% of dealers said that President Trump's inaugura-tion would have a positive impact on their business.

Only a minority (17%) said that it would have a negative impact. Regarding the 25% tariff on "imports from Canada and Mexico", 70% of respondents said that it would have a "negative impact" or "very negative impact".

However, even taking that into account, Trump "seems to be reassuring consumers with his pro-business attitude" (Cadillac dealer in New Jersey)

In response to the question "Are consumers interested in EVs?", 65% answered "I'm not interested and I won't buy one."

This is significantly higher than the 15% who were "interested and purchased" and the 20% who were "interested but did not purchase."

This reflects the current situation where the growth rate of EV sales (1.3 million units) in 2024 slowed to +7.3% compared to 2023, and the share remains at 8.1%.

From these survey data, it seems that President Trump has decided to impose a 25% tariff on all imported cars.

I think President Trump's 25% tariff is important in the sense that it will bring American car production back to the United States. The factories will return to the "special zone on the Mexican border."

"Illegal immigrants" are flocking to the Mexican border. If they are not "deported" and are employed as "low-wage workers" in factories in the "special zone," they can be "employed" at lower wages than in Mexico.

I think this is a "good condition" for automobile companies as well. Since "tempo-rary immigrants" are limited to living in the "special zone," there is no need to wor-ry about "crime, etc."

It will take time for the factories in the special zone to operate. Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in the United States should be given special permission to manufacture and sell "Japanese-standard 660cc minicars" for "low-income car users."

President Trump mentioned Nissan (cars) many times at the recent press confer-ence with Prime Minister Ishiba, so I thought he might meet with Nissan about the minicar issue.

Due to inflation caused by the Biden administration, the selling price of cars is rising. And I think that the price of cars will rise even more with this "tariff." I think that ordinary people will be satisfied with "minicars" that consume less gasoline and have a low vehicle price.

Imports as (classic cars) should be left as they are. Imports of minicars (new cars) should be banned, and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. should be allowed to produce "minicars" in the United States. And exports to Latin America should also be al-lowed.

Part 2. "Immigration Control Act Violation Cases" "Weekday Edition".

"Everyone" in the "international community" please help!

First, please read about the "false accusation" of "aiding and abetting violation of immigration law" in 2010.

"Chapter 1". The summary of the incident is as follows.

In the fall of 2008, my company (I am the president) promised to hire "Chinese people studying abroad on student visas". I "issued" them "employment contracts" stating that "LEFCO" would "employ" them when they graduated from university the following spring.

However, after that, the "Lehman Shock" occurred in 2008.

As a result, orders for "system development" from the following year onwards were "cancelled".

As a result, "LEFCO" "cancelled" the "employment" of "those who were scheduled to join the company" in 2009.

Therefore, "they" continued to work at the restaurants where they had worked part-time as students even after graduating in 2009.

In May 2010, the Chinese were arrested for "violating Article 70 of the Immigration Control Act" by "activities outside of the status of residence".

In June 2010, after their arrest, I and the Chinese person in charge of recruitment (KingGungaku) were also arrested.

The reason was "crime of aiding and abetting" the Chinese for "violating Article 70 of the Immigration Control Act (activities outside the status of residence)".

<Reason for arrest> The prosecution said that I and KingGungaku giving the Chinese a "false employment contract" constituted "crime of aiding and abetting" under the Criminal Code.

"Chapter 2". Crimes in the judgment: (arbitrary and ridiculous)

The charges in the indictment are "the very provisions" of "Article 22-4-4 of the Immigration Control Act".

If a "status of residence" is obtained by submitting false documents, the Minister of Justice can revoke the "status of residence" at his "discretion". (And the person will be deported).

Therefore, even if a Chinese person submits "false documents," it is not a crime. It is not a crime to "aid" an innocent act.

The "reason for punishment" in the judgment:

1. The Chinese person obtained "resident status" by submitting a "false employment contract."

2. And they violated the Immigration Control Act (activities outside of their status of residence).

3. The Chinese person obtained "resident status" because "we" provided the Chinese person with a "false employment contract."

4. The Chinese person was able to "reside" in Japan because he obtained "resident status."

5. Because of that, the Chinese person was able to "work illegally."

6. Therefore, "we" who "provided" the Chinese person with a "false employment contract" were punished for "aiding" the Chinese person's "activities outside of their status of residence."

This is an "error" in the arbitrary "logic of law."

This reasoning is the "argument" that "when the wind blows, the barrel maker (profits)." This goes against "legal logic" even internationally.

The "criminal reason" in the indictment cannot be a crime because the provisions of the "Immigration Control Act," which is a "special law," take precedence over the "Criminal Code," which is a "general law."

My argument:

"1": The Immigration Control Act stipulates that the Minister of Justice will revoke the act of a foreigner who has obtained a residence status by submitting false documents (Immigration Control Act: Article 22-4-4, cancellation of residence status) through "administrative disposition." That's all.

"2": The Chinese who engaged in "unqualified work activities" are not guilty. The reason is that their "employers" have not been punished for the "crime of aiding and abetting illegal employment" under Article 73-2 of the Immigration Control Act.

Therefore, under the principle of "equality under the law," the Chinese are not guilty.

The Japanese government has punished "diplomats and Philippine embassy staff" for the exact same "criminal reason."

However, like the Chinese government, the Philippine government is also silent.

The rest will be published in the Saturday edition.

Part 3. Special Zone Construction. A new business model.

Special Zones accept refugees and immigrants as temporary immigrant workers and limit their residence to the special zone.

Developed countries use them as low-wage workers and achieve high economic growth again.

Refugees and immigrants can get jobs and live a hopeful, humane life.

Temporary immigrants are low-wage, but "food, clothing, shelter, medical expenses, and education are free."

Automakers "hate" the "high wages" in the US and produce cars in Mexico

To everyone in the world's media

2025-02-27: Weekday Edition,
President Trump signed a document on the 10th to impose a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum products. He also suggested the introduction of tariff measures on auto-mobiles and other products. Trump has no choice but to "do it"!

Ford and others are opposed to the tariffs, but automakers have no choice but to produce in the "special zone on the Mexican border".

Exceptions such as tariff exemptions that were applied to products from some countries and regions, such as Japan, will be abolished. I think that if exceptions are allowed, they will be watered down.

Ford Motor CEO Farley visited Washington on the 12th and warned federal lawmak-ers that the 25% tariffs that the US president plans to impose on Canada and Mexi-co will "deal a major blow" to the US auto industry. If that is the case, factories should be moved to the "special zone".

CEO Farley said on the 11th that the impact of the tariffs would be "devastating" for US automakers. If they move to the "special zone", "MAGA" will be realized. I'm happy!

He also said that Asian and European competitors would get "unexpected benefits" because the cars they import from their countries would not be subject to similar tariffs. Think of America's interests before other countries' interests!

Automakers "hate" America's "high wages" and produce cars in Mexico and Canada, but this "backfired." They say they will "add" the tariffs to the price. Sales will only decrease.

That's why I have proposed a "special zone on the Mexican border." If we accept "illegal immigrants" as "temporary immigrants" in the "special zone" and employ them as "low-wage workers," "everything" will be solved.

Build an automobile factory in Mexico, employ low-wage workers to manufacture cars, and export them to the United States. It was clear from the beginning that this would happen. Trump is smart. Bring the factories back to the United States!

It's not too late! Automakers should manufacture "American cars" in the "special zone on the Mexican border." "Temporary immigrants" earn lower wages than Mex-ican workers. They will also make money!

Producing cars in the "Special Zone on the Mexican Border" will increase "US GDP". Consumption of "agricultural products consumed by temporary immigrants" will in-crease. Farmers are also welcome.

Not only should Canadian and Mexican car companies "return" to the "Special Zone on the Mexican Border", but all products produced outside the US and imported to the US should be returned to the "Special Zone".

It is said that accepting "illegal immigrants" as "temporary immigrants" will cause US workers to lose their jobs, but that is not true. Please understand!

Until now, there are zero US workers because production has been outside the US. So, if factories are brought back to the US from overseas, employment for US workers will increase, but not "decrease".

It seems that President Trump is making a policy to raise "tariffs" to realize my proposal. Thank you, President Trump. Cheers to "MAGA"!

but to countries where nuclear possession is de facto permitted.

2025-02-26: Weekday edition,
On his first day in office, US President Trump called North Korea a "nuclear power" and boasted about his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. As ex-pected of President Trump. It's clear and easy to understand.

It appears that he has virtually acknowledged North Korea's nuclear status and sent an invitation to Chairman Kim to begin new negotiations, which seems to be causing a big stir, especially in South Korea.

The expression "nuclear powers" mentioned by President Trump does not refer to the five countries that are legally permitted to possess nuclear weapons under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) regime, but rather to countries where nuclear possession is de facto tolerated.

Until now, there has been no precedent for a US president to explicitly refer to North Korea as a "nuclear power". This means that the second Trump administra-tion is sending a strong signal to North Korea that it is willing to negotiate without the premise of denuclearization.

South Korea has expressed a position that emphasizes that "as long as the NPT ex-ists, North Korea cannot obtain the status of a nuclear power." Politicians and bu-reaucrats in South Korea and Japan seem to have dementia.

The Trump administration has recognized North Korea as a nuclear power. I think this is a realistic response that is typical of Trump. North Korea should act respon-sibly as a nuclear power.

The Trump administration should also be realistic about how to deal with Taiwan. The United States should recognize Taiwan as part of China and clarify "One China".

If the Trump administration recognizes Taiwan as Chinese territory, I think it should "sever diplomatic relations" with the Taiwanese government. Travel between the two countries should be conducted as "part of China".

Therefore, the United States needs an "alternative" to "Taiwan" in terms of its se-curity policy. That is why I propose the "Philippine Special Zone" as an "alternative" to "Taiwan".

The "Philippine Special Zone" is jointly operated by the "UK, the US, and the Philip-pines". It is mainly an "overseas factory zone" for the "UK and the US".

The Trump administration should consult with the Philippine government and sta-tion US and British troops in the Philippines. The pretext is to protect the "Philippine Special Zone".

Based on this position, I propose that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip be allowed to move to the "Philippine Special Zone" if they so wish.

President Trump should make a deal with President Xi Jinping. China should be al-lowed to integrate Taiwan in exchange for giving up its hegemony over the South China Sea and the Senkaku Islands.

Territorial issues are the core of China. But this is what has caused the conflict. Trump should resolve the conflict between China and Japan, the Philippines, Vi-etnam, etc.

President Trump is a perceptive president who finds realistic solutions. I think Pres-ident Xi Jinping would accept President Trump's deal.

I think President Trump can create a G3MA with the United States, Russia, and Chi-na by making a deal with President Putin on the Ukraine issue and President Xi Jinping on the Taiwan issue. He would definitely win the Nobel Peace Prize.

As expected of President Trump! "Ukraine may become Russia someday,"

To everyone in the world's media

I will provide the missing materials so please request by email.

2025-02-25: Weekday edition,
As expected of President Trump! "Ukraine may become Russia someday," Trump blurted out in a TV interview. The Ukraine war is a war that Biden, who likes "war business," has been planning since he was vice president.

In an interview with FOX News broadcast on the 10th, US President Trump said that Ukraine "may become Russia someday." I think this is the "true feelings" of many American intellectuals.

Trump said, "Ukraine may or may not make a deal. It may or may not become Rus-sia someday." The Maidan Revolution was a revolution started by Biden, so I think it would be "reasonable" to reverse it.

I think President Trump made this statement because he knows Ukraine well. Western Ukraine, where the current administration is based, is poor in resources, but the east is a heavy industrial area with strong pro-Russian sentiment, and the south is a multi-ethnic "commerce and shipping area."

The Crimean Peninsula, an important ice-free port for Russia, has a history of con-stant tug-of-war between the East and the West. I think Trump's remarks included these points.

In 2008, NATO declared that Ukraine and Georgia had agreed to join, raising Rus-sia's alarm.

At the end of 2013, Biden urged the Ukrainian people to overthrow the pro-Russian government, but a recording of his subordinate Nuland plotting a puppet govern-ment was leaked.

When the Maidan Revolution broke out in 2014, Vice President Biden and his subor-dinate Nuland were involved, working hard to overthrow the pro-Russian govern-ment and establish a pro-Western government.

When the pro-Western President Poroshenko took office in the Maidan Revolution of 2014, Russia occupied the Crimean Peninsula and annexed it to Russia. At the time, President Obama rejected Biden's proposal to enter the war.

However, after the Biden administration was launched, the United States regained its "Biden-style authority" through the "Ukraine-Russia War." However, Americans' "values" regarding the Ukraine War are very different.

Without NATO, the value of the United States would decline and it would be unable to export arms, but Republican President Trump has been pushing the idea that "NATO is unnecessary" and that "NATO is unnecessary."

As soon as he took office, Trump put "America First" into practice with "tariffs." This is different from Biden, who uses "war business" as his backbone. The "EU," which was subordinate to Biden, is in chaos.

I am against the "war business." So, although I "have different views" on "immigra-tion issues" and "tariff issues," I support Trump's "America First" approach. Good luck, President Trump!

I'll write again tomorrow.
