“Depleted uranium” is the waste generated during the process of manufacturing (enriching) the nuclear fuel used in nuclear power plants. Nuclear fuel is made by enriching natural uranium, but a large amount of "low-concentration uranium" is generated in the process.

これは、「ウクライナ人」も「ＮＯ」と「言う」べきだ。「劣化ウラン弾」とは、その「核のゴミ」から作った兵器です。プーチン氏、イギリスからウクライナへの「劣化ウラン弾」の「供与=grant」に「警告」した。いよいよ「小規模」の「核戦争」が始まります。

ロシアのウラジーミル・プーチン大統領は21日、イギリスがウクライナに劣化ウラン弾を供与した場合、「対応せざるを得ない」と警告した。西側諸国が「核の材料」を使った武器を配備していると非難している。プーチンはもっと非難をするべきだ。

イギリスは、主力戦車「チャレンジャー2」と共に、「劣化ウラン」を使用した「徹甲弾」を「供与」すると「認め」ている。ただし英国は、放射能汚染のリスクは低いと「主張」している。イギリスは「湾岸戦争」を知らないのか。

「劣化ウラン」とは、原発で使う核燃料を製造（濃縮）する過程で出てくるゴミ。天然ウランを濃縮して核燃料は作られますが、その過程で大量の「低濃度ウラン」が発生します。

一般に核燃料１kgを製造するために、0.2～0.3%という天然ウランよりもウラン235の含有率が低いウランが５～10kg生み出されると言われています。これがいわゆる「劣化ウラン」です。

劣化ウランは、原発の燃料としては使えないのですが、鉛より1.7倍も大きい、非常に大きい密度を持ち、また非常に堅い。しにため、放射能による被害を考えなければ、「戦車=tank」や「装甲車両」の「装甲」を「打ち抜く」ための「砲弾の材料」としては「最適な物質」です。

1991年の湾岸戦争では、「劣化ウラン」は「戦車砲弾や航空機の機銃弾」として使用されていましたが、1997年以降アメリカは、「貫通爆弾や巡航ミサイル」など、「さまざまな兵器」に「劣化ウラン」を大量に使うようになっていると言われています。

「湾岸戦争に従軍した兵士」の間で、「癌･白血病、免疫不全をはじめ」、「全身にわたる様々な疾患」が多発しており、総称して「湾岸戦争症候群」と呼ばれています。「湾岸線帰還兵の半数近く」が「何らかの症状を」訴えている。

「30万人以上の兵士」が「劣化ウランに被曝」した。劣化ウランへの広範囲･大規模な被曝が、帰還兵の半数近くという異常なまでの数の健康被害を生みだしたことは疑いがありません。

アメリカ政府･軍は「劣化ウランによる被曝量はわずかで影響が出る、はずはない」とし、「全帰還兵」を対象とした全面的な疫学的調査と実態調査をサボタージュしています。実態調査しないで、なぜ因果関係がないなどと、言えるのですか。

帰還兵の場合、被曝量が大きいとはいえ、被弾したイラクの戦車、装甲車輌への接触といった、一時的なものであった。しかし、

「劣化ウラン」は「イラクの人々、子供達」を苦しめている「深刻な放射能被害」。イラクは、「国土に320㌧もの劣化ウラン」を「撒き散らされた」からです。

「劣化ウラン弾」は湾岸戦争、ユーゴスラビア、アフガニスタン、イラク戦争などで使用されたが、戦後、現地住民やイラクやユーゴスラビアの戦闘に参加した米軍兵士に、がん、白血病、免疫不全、慢性疲労など様々な体調不良を訴えるものが続出した。

ヨーロッパでは、「バルカン症候群」と劣化ウラン弾の因果関係を巡って、深刻な事実が明らかになろうとしています。

１月１６日、スイス連邦科学技術研究所は、国連調査団がコソボで回収した「劣化ウラン弾」から「ウラン２３６」が検出されたと発表しました。「ウラン２３６」は、「原子炉の中の核分裂」によって作られます。

このウラン２３６が検出されたことは、「劣化ウラン弾の材料」として、「使用済み核燃料」の「再処理で取り出されたウラン」が使用されていたことを示唆しています。

さらにドイツ・テレビは、「劣化ウラン弾」に「プルトニウム」が混入していた疑いをとりあげ、ドイツ国防大臣は、「米国」に対して、プルトニウム汚染の疑いを明らかにするよう要求しました。

スイスの専門家は「もし再処理ウランが使用されていたとすれば、プルトニウムも存在することは『大いにありうる』」と述べています。「核戦争」は絶対に阻止する必要があります。
