被爆国である、G7の議長国の日本は、英国がウクライナに提供する（戦車）「チャレンジャー2」の「劣化ウラン弾」の「供給」を止めさせるべきだ。「劣化ウラン弾」の被害者はウクライナ国民だ。

ドイツは「劣化ウラン弾」を使用していません。英国も「劣化ウラン弾」の新規の生産を中止しています。英国が供与するのは在庫処分の「劣化ウラン弾」です。英国はウクライナを「劣化ウラン」の「墓場」にするべきではない。

アメリカだけでなくイギリス政府も劣化ウランの危険性をよく知っていました。戦車砲弾に含まれる劣化ウランを吸入した場合、50万人を死亡させる能力を持つことになると述べています。

劣化ウラン弾は湾岸戦争、ユーゴスラビア、アフガニスタン、イラクなどの「戦争」で使用された。

「湾岸戦争などの戦後」、「現地住民」や「イラクやユーゴスラビアの戦闘に参加した米軍兵士」は続々と「体調不良」を訴えた。それは「がん、白血病、免疫不全、慢性疲労など」の「様々」な症状です。

「イラクの人々」、「子供達」を苦しめている劣化ウランによる深刻な「放射能被害」。「米軍帰還兵」の被害にも増して、「その何倍も何十倍」も「深刻」なのは、「イラクにおける被害」です。

帰還兵の場合、被曝量が大きいとはいえ、「被弾したイラクの戦車、装甲車輌」への接触といった一時的なものであった。一方、イラクは「国土に320tもの劣化ウラン」を「まきちらされた」からです。

戦場に近い「イラク南部のバスラ」を中心とした諸都市では、「癌・白血病」が３倍～７倍に増加。イラクの癌登録データは、戦争後、イラク南部での白血病発生率が１.５倍～３.８倍に増加していることを示しています。

1998年のブリティシュ･メディカル･ジャーナルの記事は、国連癌統計に基づいてイラク南部における癌発生率が1989年から1994年にかけて７倍に増加したとしています。

ユニセフによれば50万人以上の子供達が戦争と"制裁"によって殺された。劣化ウランもその原因の一つ。

アメリカ政府と軍は、湾岸戦争前から劣化ウランの危険性を知り尽くしていた。アメリカ政府と軍は、表向きは、劣化ウランの人体と環境への影響については否定しています。しかしこれは全くの嘘です。

アメリカ政府と軍は、兵器としての殺傷能力とそれが引き起こす被害について、綿密に検証を重ね、冷静かつ具体的に評価していたのです。

米欧の帰還兵支援団体や、反核団体は、粘り強い取り組みの末、米政府の嘘を裏付けるいくつかの軍報告書の存在を暴き出しました。

アメリカ軍弾道学研究所は、その研究報告の中で述べている。報告は、「劣化ウラン弾に撃たれた装申車輌の内部、あるいは近傍(およそ50メートル未満)に存在する人員は、劣化ウランの著しい内部被曝を受けるだろう」。

アメリカ政府・軍や、原子力擁護の学者達は、口を揃えて「たとえ被曝しても線量が低すぎて影響が出るはずはない」「ストレスが原因」等々と主張しています。しかし、現実の被害から、劣化ウランの危険性を再度明らかにする必要がある。
