According to the research, “Who am I…really”, my personal type is INFP: creative and complex personality. The result of the research says INFPs hold harmony and friendship close to their hearts. When they focus on these values, they can be inspired for short periods of time. INFPs are quiet and adaptable; they won't easily share their inner selves or their sense of humour with others unless they have built a trusting relationship. Basically, the information about INFP is suitable for my own personality. My friends who are close to me always say that I look like a quiet person at first, but they found after a while I like to share my feelings with others. I put my value on my feelings and emotions; I have never been logical. That is why I chose literature for my major. Thinking about the minds of characters is very interesting and exciting for me when I read and analyze books. I believe it is my strength to take care of feelings because it may make me kind to others. However, on the other hand, I am not good at thinking objectively or realistically. I realize my weakness that I sometimes lack sense of fairness and reality.
This research shows my type is suitable to several jobs such as working in arts, counselling, writing, teaching (art, music and drama), library work and entertainment. All of them seem interesting for me. If I will be writer, I can improve other people's lives through my verbal skills as the research says. It sounds great and I believe that it will be my pleasure. If I choose counselling for my job, I may be able to share the clients’ feelings. It must be hard work, but I think I can be content when my clients get better because I feel happy very much when I reach out into someone’s heart. In addition, I also I can derive a big satisfaction from my work if I work as a librarian. I really like books and enjoy staying in a library so that I had already learnt to be a librarian in my university. Besides my interests, I found that my personality is suitable to this job, too. The research says I work the best when I have the freedom to creatively respond. The reflection of my values of unity and friendship is also important when I work. A librarian is required both abilities to work individually and to build a relationship with others: coworkers, users, societies, and so on. According to the research, INFPs need to believe in the values of their work in each case. I hope I will find a job which I like and can work in good faith.
