レビ記４章

主はモーセに告げて言われました。
2 「イスラエルの子孫達に告げて言え！
もし、誰かが、主がしてはならないと命じられたことを誤って行い、そのうちの一つでも行ったならばその罪は重い。
3 もし、油注がれた祭司が罪を犯して、民に罪を負わせるならば、彼はその犯した罪のせいで、傷のない若い雄牛を罪の捧げ物として主の前に捧げるようにしなさい！
4 そして、彼はその雄牛を主の前に会見の天幕の門の前に連れて来て、その雄牛の頭に手を置き、主の前でその雄牛を殺さなければならない。
5 そして、油を注がれた祭司はその雄牛の血を取り、それを会見の天幕に持って来る。
6 祭司はその血に指を浸し、その血を聖所のベールの前で主の前に七度振りかけなければならない。
7 祭司はその血を会見の天幕にある主の前の香の祭壇の角に注ぎ、雄牛の残りの血はすべて会見の天幕の戸口にある燔祭の祭壇の底に注ぎ出す。
8 また、罪の捧げ物の雄牛の脂肪は、その内側をおおっている脂肪と、内側の上にあるすべての脂肪を、すべてそこから取り除かなければならない。
9 また、二つの腎臓とその上にある脂肪で腰のそばにあるものおよび肝臓の上の葉は腎臓のそばから取り去らなければならない。
10 祭司はこれを燔祭の祭壇の上で煙に立たせなければならない。
11 しかし、雄牛の皮とそのすべての肉とその頭とその脚とその内側とその糞と。
12 牛の全身であっても、陣営を離れて、灰の注がれる清い所に運び出し、火で薪の上に焼いて、灰の注がれる所でそれを焼かなければならない。
13 イスラエルの全会衆が、そのことを集会の目から隠して誤りを犯し、主が行うべきではないと命じられたことを行って、罪を犯した場合。
14 彼らの犯した罪が知られた時、集会は罪の捧げ物として若い雄牛を捧げ、それを会見の天幕の前に持って来なければならない。
15 そして、会衆の長老達は主の前でその雄牛の頭に手を置き、その雄牛は主の前で殺されなければならない。
16 そして、油を注がれた祭司はその雄牛の血を会見の天幕に持って来る。
17 祭司はその血に指を浸し、それをベールの前で主の前に七度振りかけなければならない。
18 祭司はその血を会見の天幕にある主の前にある祭壇の角に注ぎ、残りの血はすべて会見の天幕の戸口にある燔祭の祭壇の底に注ぎ出さなければならない。
19 また、その脂肪をことごとく取って、祭壇の上で煙としなければならない。
20 こうして、彼は雄牛に行い、罪の捧げ物の雄牛に行ったように、これにも行わなければならない。
21 祭司はその雄牛を陣営の外に運び出し、最初の雄牛を焼いたように、これを焼かなければならない。
これは集会のための罪の捧げ物である。
22 統治者が罪を犯し、その神である主がしてはならないと命じられたすべての事のうち一つでも誤って行い罪を犯した時。
23 もし、彼の犯した罪が彼に知られたならば、彼はその供え物に傷のない雄のやぎを携えて来なければならない。
24 そして、彼はそのやぎの頭に手を置いて、主の前に燔祭を殺す所で、これを殺さなければならない。
これは罪の捧げ物である。
25 祭司はその指で罪の捧げ物の血を取り、それを燔祭の祭壇の角の上に置き、その残りの血を燔祭の祭壇の底に注ぎ出す。
26 また、その脂肪はすべて平和の捧げ物の脂肪と同じように祭壇の上で煙を上げ、祭司は彼のためにその罪について贖罪を行い、彼は赦されるであろう。
27 また、一般の民のうちに、主がしてはならないと命じられたことを誤って行い、罪を犯した者があり、
28 もし、彼の犯した罪が彼に知られたならば、彼は自分の犯した罪のために、傷のない雌のやぎを供え物として持って来なければならない。
29 そして、その手を罪の捧げ物の頭に置き、罪の捧げ物を燔祭の所で殺さなければならない。
30 祭司はその血を指で取って、燔祭の祭壇の角の上に置き、その残りの血はすべて祭壇の底に注ぐ。
31 そして、その脂肪はすべて、平和の捧げ物の犠牲から脂肪を取るように、取り除かなければならない。
祭司はこれを祭壇の上で煙にして、主に甘い香りを捧げ、祭司は彼のために贖罪を行い、彼は赦されるであろう。
32 また、彼が罪の捧げ物のために子羊を携えてくる時は、傷のない雌を携えてこなければならない。
33 そして、祭司はその手を罪の捧げ物の頭に置き、焼燔の捧げ物を殺す所で、罪の捧げ物としてこれを殺さなければならない。
34 祭司は指で罪の捧げ物の血を取り、それを燔祭の祭壇の角の上に置き、その残りの血はすべて祭壇の底に注ぎ出さなければならない。
35 また、その脂肪はすべて、平和の捧げ物の犠牲から子羊の脂肪を取るように取り去り、祭司はこれを祭壇の上で、火で焼いた主の供え物の上で煙らせ、祭司は彼のために、彼が犯した罪に触れて贖罪し、彼は赦されるものとする。」

1 ついで主はモーセに告げて仰せられた。
2 「イスラエル人に告げて言え。もし人が、主がするなと命じたすべてについてあやまって罪を犯し、その一つでも行った場合、
3 もし油そそがれた祭司が罪を犯し、民が咎を覚えるなら、その人は自分の犯した罪のために、傷のない若い雄牛を、罪のためのいけにえとして主に捧げなければならない。
4 その雄牛を会見の天幕の入口の所、主の前に連れて来て、その雄牛の頭の上に手を置き、主の前にその雄牛をほふりなさい。
5 油そそがれた祭司はその雄牛の血を取り、それを会見の天幕に持って入りなさい。
6 その祭司は指を血の中に浸し、主の前、すなわち聖所の垂れ幕の前に、その血を七たび振りかけなさい。
7 祭司はその血を、会見の天幕の中にある主の前のかおりの高い香の祭壇の角に塗りなさい。その雄牛の血を全部、会見の天幕の入口にある全焼のいけにえの祭壇の土台に注がなければならない。
8 その罪のためのいけにえの雄牛の脂肪全部を、それから取り除かなければならない。すなわち、内臓をおおう脂肪と、内臓についている脂肪全部、
9 二つの腎臓と、それについていて腰のあたりにある脂肪、さらに腎臓といっしょに取り除いた肝臓の上の小葉とを取り除かなければならない。
10 これは和解のいけにえの牛から取り除く場合と同様である。祭司はそれらを全焼のいけにえの祭壇の上で焼いて煙にしなさい。
11 ただし、その雄牛の皮と、その肉の全部、さらにその頭と足、それにその内臓と汚物、
12 その雄牛の全部を、宿営の外のきよい所、すなわち灰捨て場に運び出し、たきぎの火で焼くこと。これは灰捨て場で焼かなければならない。
13 また、イスラエルの全会衆があやまっていて、あることが集団の目から隠れ、主がするなと命じたすべてのうち一つでも行い、後で咎を覚える場合、
14 彼らが犯したその罪が明らかになったときに、集団や罪のためのいけにえとして若い雄牛を捧げ、会見の天幕の前にそれを連れて来なさい。
15 そこで、会衆の長老たちは、主の前でその雄牛の頭の上に手を置き、その雄牛を主の前でほふりなさい。
16 油そそがれた祭司は、その雄牛の血を会見の天幕に持って入り、
17 祭司は指を血の中に浸して、主の前、垂れ幕の前に、それを七たび振りかけなさい。
18 彼は、その血を会見の天幕の中にある主の前の祭壇の角に塗らなければならない。彼はその血の全部を、会見の天幕の入口にある全焼のいけにえの祭壇の土台に注がなければならない。
19 脂肪全部をその雄牛から取り除き、祭壇の上で焼いて煙にしなければならない。
20 この雄牛に対して、彼が罪のためのいけにえの雄牛に対してしたようにしなさい。これにも同様にしなければならない。こうして祭司は彼らのために贖いをしなさい。彼らは赦される。
21 彼はその雄牛を宿営の外に運び出し、最初の雄牛を焼いたように、それも焼きなさい。これは集会の罪のためのいけにえである。
22 上に立つ者が罪を犯し、その神、主がするなと命じたすべてのうち一つでもあやまって行い、後で咎を覚える場合、
23 または、彼が犯した罪が自分に知らされたなら、彼は捧げ物として、傷のない雄やぎを連れて来て、
24 そのやぎの頭の上に手を置き、全焼のいけにえをほふる場所で、主の前にそれをほふりなさい。これは罪のためのいけにえである。
25 祭司は指で、罪のためのいけにえの血を取り、それを全焼のいけにえの祭壇の角に塗りなさい。また、その血は全焼のいけにえの祭壇の土台に注がなければならない。
26 また、彼は和解のいけにえの脂肪の場合と同様に、その脂肪を全部、祭壇の上で焼いて煙にしなければならない。祭司は、その人のために、その人の罪の贖いをしなさい。その人は赦される。
27 また、もし一般の人々のひとりが、主がするなと命じたことの一つでも行い、あやまって罪を犯し、後で咎を覚える場合、
28 または、彼が犯した罪が自分に知らされたなら、彼は犯した罪のために、その捧げ物として、傷のない雌やぎを連れて来て、
29 その罪のためのいけにえの頭の上に手を置き、全焼のいけにえの場所で罪のためのいけにえをほふりなさい。
30 祭司は指で、その血を取り、それを全焼のいけにえの祭壇の角に塗りなさい。その血は全部、祭壇の土台に注がなければならない。
31 また、脂肪が和解のいけにえから取り除かれる場合と同様に、その脂肪全部を取り除かなければならない。祭司は主へのなだめのかおりとして、それを祭壇の上で焼いて煙にしなさい。祭司は、その人のために贖いをしなさい。その人は赦される。
32 もしその人が罪のためのいけにえのために、捧げ物として子羊を連れて来る場合には、傷のない雌羊を連れて来なければならない。
33 その罪のためのいけにえの頭の上に手を置き、全焼のいけにえをほふる場所で、罪のためのいけにえとしてほふりなさい。
34 祭司は指で、罪のためのいけにえの血を取り、それを全焼のいけにえの祭壇の角に塗りなさい。その血は全部、祭壇の土台に注がなければならない。
35 また、和解のいけにえの子羊の脂肪が取り除かれる場合と同様に、その脂肪全部を取り除かなければならない。祭司はそれを祭壇の上で、主への火による捧げ物の上に載せて焼いて煙にしなさい。祭司は、その人のために、その人が犯した罪の贖いをしなさい。その人は赦される。

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: If any one shall sin through error, in any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, and shall do any one of them:
3 if the anointed priest shall sin so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin-offering.
4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tent of meeting before the LORD; and he shall lay his hand upon the head of the bullock, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
5 And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, and bring it to the tent of meeting.
6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.
7 And the priest shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tent of meeting; and all the remaining blood of the bullock shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.
8 And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering he shall take off from it; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
9 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the lobe above the liver, which he shall take away by the kidneys,
10 as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make them smoke upon the altar of burnt-offering.
11 But the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung,
12 even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out shall it be burnt. 
13 And if the whole congregation of Israel shall err, the thing being hid from the eyes of the assembly, and do any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, and are guilty:
14 when the sin wherein they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bullock for a sin-offering, and bring it before the tent of meeting.
15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD; and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
16 And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting.
17 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil.
18 And he shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tent of meeting, and all the remaining blood shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.
19 And all the fat thereof shall he take off from it, and make it smoke upon the altar.
20 Thus shall he do with the bullock; as he did with the bullock of the sin-offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.
21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock; it is the sin-offering for the assembly. 
22 When a ruler sinneth, and doeth through error any one of all the things which the LORD his God hath commanded not to be done, and is guilty:
23 if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, be known to him, he shall bring for his offering a goat, a male without blemish.
24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before the LORD; it is a sin-offering.
25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and the remaining blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering.
26 And all the fat thereof shall he make smoke upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin, and he shall be forgiven. 
27 And if any one of the common people sin through error, in doing any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, and be guilty:
28 if his sin, which he hath sinned, be known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill the sin-offering in the place of burnt-offering.
30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and all the remaining blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.
31 And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make it smoke upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven. 
32 And if he bring a lamb as his offering for a sin-offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill it for a sin-offering in the place where they kill the burnt-offering.
34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and all the remaining blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.
35 And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make them smoke on the altar, upon the offerings of the LORD made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
