 I was informed today that the hotel "managed to do a mass cancellation of all the IEEE reservations this morning".

今日、ホテルは「今朝すべてのIEEE予約を一括キャンセルするように管理されている」と通知されました。
There will be no individual confirmation sent.
個別の確認は送信されません。
If you made a reservation outside the IEEE 802 Block (did not use our "save the date" link), then you may need to check your reservation.
IEEE 802ブロック外で予約した場合（「日付を保存」リンクを使用しなかった場合）、予約を確認する必要がある場合があります。
 Hopefully we will get back to our meetings soon.

2 weeks ago, I sent a notice to let you know that your 2020 July 802 Plenary Hotel Reservations at the Le Centre Sheraton Montréal reservations would be cancelled by the hotel staff.  That is still the plan.

However as they are very short staffed, they have not completed the cancellation process.

I have been assured that there will be no penalties or fees, and the reservations will be cancelled in due course.

Thank you for understanding that this is an unprecedented event, and we all are doing our best.

As you should have been informed by now, the IEEE 802 Executive Committee (EC) decided to cancel face to face meetings scheduled for July 2020 at the 21 April 2020 EC meeting due to the ongoing pandemic.

Many of you had made reservations at the Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel in your planning to attend.  I have been in contact with the hotel, and all reservations that were made in the IEEE 802 Hotel Block (used the link our on website) will be cancelled.

Please be patient, and allow the hotel to cancel your reservation if you made it in our block.  The hotel is currently closed, but some minimal staff are working that will be able to cancel the reservations.  They will not however be sending individual emails with cancellation numbers.

Once the Hotel has completed the cancellation process (about 2 weeks), I will send another notice to let you know that it should have completed the cancellation process and then you can check to see if there is a lingering issue.

Thank you for understanding that this is an unprecedented event, and we all are doing our best.
