On Sunday, April 25th, I went to Fujinotoyama JA/NN-184/992m in Nagano City for SOTA activation. I had a backache the week before last and couldn't climb much, So I came to a mountain that can be climbed in 5 minutes.
↑下に車を止め、鳥居をくぐって登る。↓
↑Park my car and go through the torii gate to the summit.
↓5分程で山頂到着。山頂には展望台とモニュメントが有る。
↑Arrive at the summit in 5min.. There are observatory and monument.
↓今日は曇り空で遠くは見えないが眼下に長野市内一望である。
↑Today is cloudy, so can't see the distance, but see the All Nagano-city.
↓早速準備をして14MHzからCQ。
↑Get ready and start CQ from 14MHz.
先ず北米からのコール。その後ニュージー、インドネシアからもコール。
First, called from North America. After that, called from ZL and YB.
何局かは、CQ中に呼んできて、思わずQRM？、QSYしようか?と思う程。
Some stations calle me during my CQ, I confuse as QRM! I think need QSY.
たぶん、こちらの電波が余り届いてなくて、境目が判らない様だ。
Maybe my signal is weak. So they coudn't found the call end.
YB1TIA局も呼んでくれているとAWE局からQSP。だが、弱くて取れない。
QSP from the AWE-san that the TIA-san is calling. But could't pick-up.
18MHzにQSY。こちらは1局のみ。
QSY to 18MHz. Here is only 1-QSO.
21MHzにQSYすると、無事にTIA局も取れた。
When QSY to 21MHz, I picked-up the TIA-san.
7MHzは近距離のCONDEXがNG。1エリアはFREさんとS2SのNDTさんだけ。
At 7MHz, local CONDEX is NG. 1-area is only FRE-san and NDT-san(S2S).
7エリアのMHA局とのS2Sもギリギリ。
The signal level of S2S with MHA-san in 7-area is also very weak.
↓本日のアンテナ、右手前がHF用LW。2mは2elHB9CV。430は5el八木。
↑Today's ANT, right is the LW for HF. 2m is 2el HB9CV. 430 is 5el Yagi.
XYLは2mSSBから運用開始。
XYL starts activation from 2m SSB.
普段は低山だと、SSBはお相手がいない事が多いが、今日は長野市一望のおかげも有り、AWE局、MXV局、VVH局を含む6-QSO。
Usually, in the low mountains, there is often no QSO at SSB, but today, 6-QSO including AWE-san, MXV-san and VVH-san.
430SSBにQSYするが、こちらは1-QSO。QSY to 430SSB, but here is 1-QSO.
午前中は、ずっと曇りで、風も冷たく、鼻水が出てくる始末。
At AM, it was cloudy, and the wind was cold, so a runny nose came out.
あまり寒くて、早々に撤収し、お昼ご飯は車で食べようかと思う程。
It was so cold, so I think would withdraw early and eat lunch in my car.
でも、お昼近くには少し晴れ、日が当たる所に出るとだいぶ暖かくなる。
However, it is a little sunny near noon and warm when the sun is shining.
昼前に茂来山JA/NN-094のTJV局と2mFMでS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO with TJV-san at Moraisan JA/NN-094 on 2mFM before noon.
お昼を食べながら、横手山JA/NN-045のVJQ局とも430FMでS2S-QSO。
While eating lunch, S2S-QSO at 430FM with VJQ-san on JA/NN-045.
ここは少し感度抑圧が有る様で、かろうじてVX-3に入感したのでS2S-QSO出来たが、FT-817の433メインは、横手山からの59+の信号にもSQが開かなかった。
There seems to be sensitivity suppression here. I was able to do S2S-QSO with VX-3. However, the SQ did not open by 59+ signal from Mt.Yokote at 433-main on the FT-817 .
防災無線局の設備が有るので、そのせいだろうか？
Is it because of the equipment of the disaster prevention radio station?
↓昼食後、7SSBでCQを出すXYL。SYG局とS2S-QSOのみで、他は空振り。
↑After lunch, XYL CQ at 7SSB. Only SYG-san with S2S-QSO, others 0-QSO.
7SSBもCONDEXが良くないので、そろそろ撤収。
7SSB is also not good at CONDEX, so I will withdraw.
そう言えば、大学の後輩が、日光半月山展望台で50.05MHzでALLJAコンテストでCQを出してるので援助交信頼むとTWが入っていたのを思い出し、6mのモビホを釣り竿に取り付けて聞いてみた。
On TW, College junior participated ALLJA Contest from Nikko Hangetsuyama Observatory. He CQ at 50.05MHz. I remember the request for assistance QSO, I set up the 6m ANT and heard 50.05MHz.
↓残念ながら、半月山展望台は入感無し。
↑Unfortunately, the CQ has no sens.
と言う事で、今度こそ撤収。Then started withdrawal.
