During Golden Week, I went to Aichi and Gifu to visit castles related to this year's Taiga drama, and if possible, with SOTA activation.
↓先ずは愛知の犬山城。国宝指定されている。
↑First of all, Inuyama Castle in Aichi. It is the national treasure.
↓犬山城の説明。下の門から天守閣のてっぺんまでは結構高低差が有る。
↑Explanation of Inuyama Castle. There is a considerable height difference to the castle tower.

↓中は、急な木製の階段で当時のままの作りだ。
↑The inside is built as it was at the time with steep wooden stairs.

犬山城を後にして、次はSOTA JA/GF-271眉山に向かう。
After Inuyama Castle, I headed to SOTA JA/GF-271 Mt.Bizan.

あれ～、上に行けないの、、、、ちょっとショック。
Huh, I can't go up... I'm a little shocked.
↓少し戻った所にNTTの看板。関係者以外通行禁止だそうだ。

かわりに眉山に向かう途中で山の上に見かけたお城に向かう。
Instead, head to the castle I saw on the mountain on the way to Mt. Bizan.
調べると、岐阜市の金華山/岐阜城らしい。
When I looked it up, it seems to be Kinkazan / Gifu Castle in Gifu City.
下からロープウェイで290m地点くらい迄行ける。歩いて登っている人達もいた。
From the bottom, we can go to about 290m by ropeway.
↓金華山329mの頂上に建つ岐阜城。頂上駅から少し歩く。
↑Gifu Castle stands at the top of Mt.Kinka329m.
外見はそこそこだが、城の中は残念ながら近代風に改装されている。
The castle looks nice outside, but the inside has been renovated in a modern style.
中は大阪城の様にコンクリートの階段と展示スペースが作られていてちょっと残念。
It's a bit disappointing that the inside has concrete stairs and an exhibition space.

ちなみに犬山城もそうだが、写真を撮る時に天守の屋根瓦等を写しこむべきだった。
By the way, when I took a picture, I should have included the roof tiles of the castle tower.
天守閣から360℃眺めて、周りに高い山も無さそう。SOTAじゃないのかな?と思った。
Looking at the whole circumference from the castle tower, there seems to be no high mountains around. I wondered if it wasn't SOTA?
帰ってから調べると、JA/GF-204だ。う～ん、運用すればよかった。既に後の祭り、、、
After came home, I check it and it was JA/GF-204. Hmm, I shoud actvated. it's too late.
岐阜城から降りて来て、次は小牧の、小牧山城跡に向かう。
Down from Gifu Castle, next we head to Komakiyama Castle ruins in Komaki.

↓途中の石垣。ここも入り口から山頂まで結構高低差がある。

↓頂上には当時の天守閣はなく、歴史館が模擬天守閣として建てられている。
↑There is no old castle tower at the top, and a history museum has been built as a simulated castle tower.
と言う事で、今日は３城ほど巡ったが、眉山で運用出来なかった代わりに岐阜城/金華山に行ったがSOTA指定だったので運用すればよかった。返す返すも悔やまれる、、、、
I visited about 3 castles today, but instead of activating Mt. Bizan, I should have activated Mt. Kinka. I will regret it even if I return it,,,,
でも1日３城は結構疲れる。３城で累積標高差で150m程登ったので、ちょっとしたSOTA山登り並みだった。
But 3 castles a day is pretty tiring. I climbed about 150m in total elevation difference at 3 castles, so it was a bit like climbing SOTA.
