For behold in those days and in that time when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem
1 見よ。わたしがユダとエルサレムの繁栄を元どおりにする、その日、その時、

I will also gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations and parted my land

And they have cast lots for my people and have given a boy for an harlot and sold a girl for wine that they might drink

Yea and what have ye to do with me O Tyre and Zidon and all the coasts of Palestine will ye render me a recompence and if ye recompense me swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head

Because ye have taken my silver and my gold and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things

The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians that ye might remove them far from their border

Behold I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them and will return your recompence upon your own head

And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah and they shall sell them to the Sabeans to a people far off for the LORD hath spoken it

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles Prepare war wake up the mighty men let all the men of war draw near let them come up
9 諸国の民の間で、こう叫べ。聖戦をふれよ。勇士たちを奮い立たせよ。すべての戦士たちを集めて上らせよ。

10 あなたがたの鋤を剣に打ち変えよ、 
刈り鉤を槍に打ち込め； 
弱い者に言わせなさい、『わたしは強い』と。
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears let the weak say I am strong
10 あなたがたの鋤を剣に、あなたがたのかまを槍に、打ち直せ。弱い者に「私は勇士だ」と言わせよ。

集まって、異教徒よ皆来て、そこの周りに集まって、あなたの力強い者たちが降りてくるように、主よ
Assemble yourselves and come all ye heathen and gather yourselves together round about thither cause thy mighty ones to come down O LORD
11 回りのすべての国々よ。急いで来て、そこに集まれ。—主よ。あなたの勇士たちを下してください—

Let the heathen be wakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about

Put ye in the sickle for the harvest is ripe come get you down for the press is full the fats overflow for their wickedness is great

決断の谷に群衆がいる、決断の谷に主の日が近づいているからである
Multitudes multitudes in the valley of decision for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision
14 さばきの谷には、群集また群集。主の日がさばきの谷に近づくからだ。

太陽と月は暗くなり、星々は輝きを失うだろう
The sun and the moon shall be darkened and the stars shall withdraw their shining
15 太陽も月も暗くなり、星もその光を失う。

The LORD also shall roar out of Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem and the heavens and the earth shall shake but the LORD will be the hope of his people and the strength of the children of Israel
16 主はシオンから叫び、エルサレムから声を出される。天も地も震える。だが、主は、その民の避け所、イスラエルの子らのとりでである。

それであなたがたは、わたしがわたしの聖なる山シオンに住むあなたの神、主であることを知るであろう。そのときエルサレムは聖なるであろう、そしてもはや見知らぬ人はそこを通り抜けることはないであろう。
So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion my holy mountain then shall Jerusalem be holy and there shall no strangers pass through her any more
17 あなたがたは、わたしがあなたがたの神、主であり、わたしの聖なる山、シオンに住むことを知ろう。エルサレムは聖地となり、他国人はもう、そこを通らない。

その日、山は新しいぶどう酒を滴らせ、丘は乳を流し、ユダのすべての川は水を流し、主の家から泉が出て、シッティムの谷を潤す。
And it shall come to pass in that day that the mountains shall drop down new wine and the hills shall flow with milk and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD and shall water the valley of Shittim
18 その日、山々には甘いぶどう酒がしたたり、丘々には乳が流れ、ユダのすべての谷川には水が流れ、主の宮から泉がわきいで、シティムの渓流を潤す。

エジプトは荒れ果て、エドムは荒れ果てた荒野となる、 
ユダの子らに対する暴力のために、彼らがその地で罪のない血を流したからである。
Egypt shall be a desolation and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness for the violence against the children of Judah because they have shed innocent blood in their land
19 エジプトは荒れ果てた地となり、エドムは荒れ果てた荒野となる。彼らのユダの人々への暴虐のためだ。彼らが彼らの地で、罪のない血を流したためだ。

But Judah shall dwell for ever and Jerusalem from generation to generation
20 だが、ユダは永遠に人の住む所となり、エルサレムは代々にわたって人の住む所となる。

主がシオンに住まわれるため、私が清めなかった彼らの血を私が清めるからです。
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed for the LORD dwelleth in Zion
21 わたしは彼らの血の復讐をし、罰しないではおかない。主はシオンに住む。

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.
3 And they have cast lots for My people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and have drunk.
4 And also what are ye to Me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the regions of Philistia? will ye render retribution on My behalf? and if ye render retribution on My behalf, swiftly, speedily will I return your retribution upon your own head.
5 Forasmuch as ye have taken My silver and My gold, and have carried into your temples My goodly treasures;
6 the children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the sons of Jevanim, that ye might remove them far from their border;
7 behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your retribution upon your own head;
8 and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the men of Sheba, to a nation far off; for the LORD hath spoken.
9 Proclaim ye this among the nations, prepare war; stir up the mighty men; let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears; let the weak say: 'I am strong.'
11 Haste ye, and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together; thither cause Thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD!
12 Let the nations be stirred up, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come, tread ye, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon are become black, and the stars withdraw their shining.
16 And the LORD shall roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the LORD will be a refuge unto His people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain; then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 And I will hold as innocent their blood that I have not held as innocent; and the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
