I yet again went to Oshakati last Saturday. When I watched the modern shppping mall like that, I really confused whether it's a developing country here. The biggest shop is "Game" in this mall. It's a kind of High-class home center and it has quite different items to compare to other shop. Some people say, "if you cannot find something you want here, you had better despaired for it". My purpose was to buy a curtain pole of my shower room. I've already gotten a shower curtain and fooks. We have many kind of poles named "Tsuppari-bo" in Japan, but there was only over sized poles more than 85cm. The room width is 68cm... I was disappionted...
And then I also went to a fine supermarket named "Fruit & Vege" that has mainly fresh vegetables and fruits. This shop is only here in the North, except the capital "Windhoek". When I was looking the Nuts section (that is a self-measureing of sevral kind of nuts and dry-fruits), I realised a special name tag "JAPANESE RICE CRACKERS"!! Oh, Is it a real "Senbei"? I bought it quickly and try to taste it. That was an old taste of Japan. Very delicious!! Suddenly I had a question..."Who made these crackers ?". Actually, These are several mixed crackers at least 10, so it's impossible that there is no specialist of Japanese cooking staff. Because it contains some Japanese ingredients and technics such as laver, soy sauce, sweet sake, wraped peanut, shaped cherry's petal, etc... Anyways, these are fancy making. Perhaps, by Chinese that has good hands...
Oh, the picture has nothing to do with this diary because I was too excited to take a picture when I saw this cracker. So I just replaced it with a picture of Cadbury-Almonds (=almond chocoball) I bought at the same time.
