因果の法則

『変化とは、空間の中の同じ場所にいまひとつの状態があり、その後ひき続いてもうひとつの状態があるということ、時間の中の同一のある一定時に、ここにこの状態があり、あそこにあの状態があるということである。単に時間の中でさまざまな状態が継続するのではなくて、一定の空間に関連してこの継続がおこる。さまざまな状態が一定の場所に存在するのではなくて、一定の時間に存在することなのである。このように時間と空間とが互いに制約しあうがゆえに、因果の法則に意味と必然性を与える。』改竄

Representation≒Idea（表象）

”Arthur Schopenhauer used the word representation (Vorstellung) to signify the mental idea or image of any object that is experienced as being external to the mind. It is sometimes translated as idea or presentation. This concept includes the representation of the observing subject's own body. Schopenhauer called the subject's own body the immediate object because it is in the closest proximity to the mind, which is located in the brain."

概念と観念 表象

概念（consept）　
『思考の対象について或る判断を形成する際に、その判断において結合されるところの意識に現れるその対象の像、即ち表象を、主観における表象作用から切り離して捉える時、その内容を概念という。このように、概念は直接的な経験の一部をなすものであるであるが、その概念が言葉によって表現されたものを名辞という。したがって、概念が或る表象の内容の符号であるあるとすれば、名辞は符号の符号であるということができる。』

観念（idea)
『観念が、主観としての人間の意識の対象または内容（表象）という意味をもつようになったのは、近世の、主観。客観の対立が明白にされた時である。しかし、観念が単なる流れる感覚ではなく、理性によって固定され、思考の対象となるという意味合いは、イデアというギリシャ語にすでに含まれている。』
